Lol, because we’ve been so good at drafting the past few years that we should never question them? I’d take Simpson or Washington over DJ, but oh well, he’s our guy.

I like Fitterer and I'm willing to give his staff a chance post-Rhule.

The pick and trade up make sense if the Panthers were dead set on drafting a 3-4 OLB and felt like this guy was the last one left worth a damn. But in general trading up rounds 3+ is usually a risky gamble cause those picks are too much of a crapshoot and you're better off having more chances to get it right. But not being in the draftroom nor having the scouting reports, I'm not going to get too critical. Time will tell.

He's not good at getting sacks, and he's not stronger than YGM. So basically we traded up for YGM's backup. Dumb.

He had more sacks this year than anyone on our roster not named Burns.  6.5 sacks in 11 games.  Trust the staff

He's 25 this year - not much development left I'm afraid.

You worry too much about age. If the coaches are not worried why should you be?

He has zero development in the nfl. Give the team time to bulk him up and teach him a few things then let's see what he does under these new coaches.

    • This post was an error. Oops and sorry for the errors in the previous one. Too slow to edit.   We’ll see what they do.
    • I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
    • At least we have Mike Kay and his little buddy sidekick whoever to put you to sleep when suffering from insomnia. They're all useless unfortunately.
