It's a little early to be thinking about that, but I will say that Bryce will likely want to get paid his market worth. Unless he's enlightened like Tom Brady, maybe he won't kill us when the time comes, but he will get paid, and it will be a lot.

It's not inconceivable that Bryce's contract could be in the 300mil range. That will take a chunk out of the ol salary cap.

Math problem:

HOW MANY PIZZAS WOULD YOU ORDER ?

Let's see what ChatGPT has to say:

ChatGPT is broken.

You probably need to include something about all those dudes weighing 300lbs lol. 2.5 slices per person is maybe enough for a 10 yr olds birthday party.

What a waste of the 3 minutes I gave this video.

Yeah I was like Bryce is in a tough spot because a 7-9 team with a top 10 D and top 15 O-line, and all star coaches traded up to get him? Usually the #1 pick goes to a bad situation, not a supportive one

Exactly. It was incredibly awful take even for Florio’s standards. He’s become really difficult to read or listen to.

Yeah I’d argue he is in the best situation out of all of the rookies.

He is in the NFC where there aren’t many great QBs. Plus the South is wide open.

He has a former QB HC with Caldwell, Brown, McCown, and a vet like Dalton to help him develop.

He has a talented OL featuring a potential franchise LT in Icky plus Campen developing them.

He has a talented defense with Evero developing them to keep him in games.

It was definitely reaching and pretty lame rationale.

But.... not that different than I see in here from time to time, especially dealing with Young.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
