We better hope Derrick Brown stays healthy all year

All teams can say that, we’re not the exception you loose one of your best D lineman you’re probably in trouble. That goes for the Saints Bucs Falcons etc McCall doesn’t or wasn’t going to change the fact you don’t want to lose one of best defensive players you’re probably in trouble.

I though he "fits right in" ?

this was posted 6 days ago lmaoo

He fits right in...until he doesn't.  Just goes to show how fast one can lose his job in the nfl.  It's step up or move on under this new regime.

It's either that or they discovered he wasn't OOU.

Sorry, bad flashback for a second.

I'm sure now that they have gotten a good look at the starters and the depth they've had to adjust quite a bit. The depth is little to nothing to speak of and there's nothing on the street that's going to change that. It will be duct tape and bailing wire to hold it together if injuries set in until the seasons over.

Reich isn’t wrong, both Raequan Williams and Nick Thurman have looked better than McCall. Hell, I can even point to specific plays that LaBryan Ray and Taylor Stallworth have made. I can’t do the same for McCall.

Fans should be excited about this because it shows that there is a new mantra. It’s not about what you have done, it’s about what you are doing.

As much as I was being a hopeful fan of McCall he didn't look good.

The funny thing is we may be a little deeper overall than in the previous couple of seasons, but there are spots that are wafer thin.

Then again, the recent bar is pretty low.

And to dredge up another recent fiasco, let's hope this staff has been aware enough to figure out who other than the kicker can kick if the need arises.

Good post. I’ve definitely seen flashes from Ray and Williams.

    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
