the Physically athletic ability is about where the comparison stops

 

Cam had more touch on his passes and ability to read the field as a Freshman at Florida than ARich has had up to this point in his career.

 

Arich is like Uncle Rico.  Can throw it over that mountain.  But can barely hit a touch pass.

I was - and still am - a fan of Anthony Richardson, but Bryce Young was the clear choice at #1 overall.

Richardson isn’t as strong as Cam but I’d say he’s more athletic. He put up impressive numbers at the combine and I can’t imagine Cam doing that standing flip he did there. It’s ignored in the comparisons because they’re both imposing guys but I think it puts AR on a much different trajectory than Cam.

One thing I notice is that AR is more of a straight line runner, where as Cam was super shifty and could navigate a lot of traffic, will be interesting to see if that matters at all in the game.

They're not. They're obsessed with one singular human who made their miserable lives better for a handful of years ... many years ago. Now he's long gone and they can't get that feeling back. Chasing the dragon!

Newton was a sensational College QB - that offence was predicated on the threat he posed with his legs. That doesn't make you more developed as a passer. But again, it's everyone's opinion.

I think Carolina Panthers messed up not giving Coach Wilks a chance to Coach.  Tepper & Co are  lost in managing the team, it seems!
