even if he doesn't catch a single ball tonight he completely changes how defenses have to play against us because he is a legitimate deep threat. No more safety cheating down on the box if he's on that side of the field

Good news. He is the only vertical threat on this offense and Bryce desperately needs that outlet. Let's hope he can stay healthy for the rest of the season, because the offense needs him.

I was literally just telling my son that, the fact that Chark is out there would probably open up Mingo and Thielen a lot more. DJ could cause just enough distraction and not even have catch a pass at all, even though I’m hoping he goes off tonight

Long-term for what? We aren't a playoff team. Not like we are going to beat the Saints, Bucs, or Falcons for the South and we certainly won't win enough for a Wild Card.

 

Throw him out there so he can get his money on a decent contract elsewhere next year.
