Sanders 4.0

Chuba 6.7

Chuba benched...

Chuba has stone hands, so him being in the game allows the defense to not pay attention to the RB on passing downs (or assume it's being handed off).

I understand folks want different results, but let's not forget the results Chuba has already (like a bunch of dropped passes).

I saw cmc do extreme work here and we definitely didn't have the best o line in the league in 2018 and 2019 when he was healthy

Maybe miles doesn't suck per say but if he really was that dude he'd be doing a lot better than he has the past couple games

Miles had a couple yards short of 100 total in week 1 when BC was playing. He isn’t a rb than can make something out of nothing, but if we get our OL playing better he will look better. The OL play can fix like 80-90% of our offense. We still have some WRs running sloppy routes but outside of that it’s OL play. Corbett will help but will probably be rusty for a game or two. That BC injury hurts a lot more than I thought it would.

I don’t know who Jeff Stoutland is but let’s get our billionaire owner to write a check.

Stoutland won’t leave Philly unless he’s fired. Apparently the Eagles were his favorite NFL team growing up and he’s been there through 3 different head coaches.

I wanted them to get his assistant Roy Istvan when we fired Pat Meyer

Chuba has cleaned that up considerably. Stop acting like opposing DCs are saying, "Chuba's in, that's an automatic run." Chuba caught his fair share last year. Is he perfect? No. But is he leaving balls on the field like he did his rookie year? No.

His fair share? He went from 37 targets during his rookie season (with 7 drops) to less than half of that last season with only 17 targets (and still had 1 dorp).

The issue with the run game isn't the RB. It's the run blocking execution.

Good thing Reich called him 3 bubble screens and only one actual run last week. Genius play calling. You have to run the ball to wear out the Defense, get your O-like in rhythm and to set up play action. Sanders obviously isn’t an every down back, Chuba hits the line harder when they actually let him run the ball and not try to get cute with it

Well maybe we shouldn't over pay a productive back that rushed behind the best line in football.  The way frank schemes up runs Foreman would have been the better option

Either Gantt or Kaye said Foreman wasn't a fit for the offense though lol. They don't even know what the offense is, and I can't think of an offense that couldn't use a rotational power back

    • Dude, I think I might be having Jarvy withdrawals... I ripped the sleeves off of all of my t-shirts in my sleep last night. Every bite of my Alpha-Bita cereal spelled Seth, this morning. And, I took 7 naps before lunch. I'm losing it guys! Jarvy's Jaunty Band of Jaggoffs are getting more play than he is... smh Team Canada doesn't treasure Jarvis the way he deserves. He should take his band down to Liechtenstein, get a bag of passports, and start his own Olympic team! The raw animal magnetism of Jarvilicious will bring in a handful of NHLers on its own. And, since the IOC believes in collective punishment, he could have his pick of the rookies. Then, just fill out the rest of the roster with the maple blooded great white northerners who couldn't make the top squad. Can't trust this assembled awesomery to just any old Liechtensteinien with a clipboard and a whistle. Gotta bring in a legend worthy of this gold medal gambit. A hockey HOFer with the balls to buck the system and the aura to match our maverick. Huere geil, Vaduz!!! 2030 Gold Medal guaranteed!
    • Tennessee isn't trading a QB on a 2nd round contract that has starting experience.  That's bad business.
    • OT is the top priority as it is both an immediate and future need.  I wouldn't be past trading up slightly to get the guy we want.  You need that rookie contract right now.  Icky is a dead 17.5 million for the season.  Morton is 20+ mil for the season, Hunt is 20+ mil for the season.  There needs to be forward thinking regarding the future.   Caleb Lomu is a left Tackle, he's a solid prospect, he may be the best pick for us now and in the future.  I would seriously consider cutting Hunt after 2026, and let Lomu and Icky fight for the LT job, loser moves inside.  Icky's future may be at guard after this injury anyway.  If Damien Lewis keeps up his level of play he will need to be paid sooner rather than later.  Yosh and BC can be our top two depth OL at an affordable price.  You will need to look at OT again in 2027. Getting an EDGE for the sake of getting an EDGE outside of the top 10 is pretty risky.  I wouldn't be against eyeing someone like Cashius Howell, Derrick Moore, or TJ Parker in the 2nd (even if we trade a future pick to move up) or DDS in the third. I'd love to see us try to sign both Leo Chenal and Matt Millano in FA.   Chenal for the blitzing element we are missing from our LB corps and Millano for his elite coverage.  They could both work in tandem.  Remember, our FO has deep ties to both KC and Buffalo. I love thinking about the draft, but until Free Agency hits, we are clueless.  Looking at the strength of FA and the draft, OL is priority #1, LB #2, and EDGE #3.  We know what happens to Bryce when protection falls apart.
