My thing is...if this is the case. Why should we give this 3 to 4 years to work? Who the hell honestly wants to wait that long? If he isnt living up to the status by next year you gotta look to move on.

He won't be here in 2025. I'd trade him right now and run it with Andy but that ain't happening.

that missile hit by the linebacker after he chased down young basically solidifies for me that bryce is not athletic enough for the nfl and its only a matter of time before he takes the kill shot

Richardson has already taken his and he’s an athletic monster.

Have to let it play out. We don’t have a 1st rounder in 2024. You evaluate him for two years and decide if 2025 is time for a reset at the QB position

No one knows if Bryce is a bust or not.  He has just as much potential as he did before we drafted him.  No player in the entire league could ever be judged fairly after 4 games.  It takes 1-2 years at the very, very least.

Anyone who says otherwise is delusional.  You may or may not turn out to be right in your opinion but there is literally no way to know this currently.

That is a reasonable time frame.

He may have a rocky road ahead, but I'm unsure what we're working with.  We need to see a greater sample size.  If this continues, I imagine people will be itching to draft mid-round insurance, like Cameron Ward for example, but gotta see what unfolds with the kid who we took to be the franchise.

@NAS No way to say anything positive here. You are posting on a board full of trolls who thrive on negativity

This. But I still appreciate the effort. However, I enjoy listening to the arm chair GM hot takes they think they know everything it's quite hilarious

He isn't the problem but he still has the lowest QBR in the league so he is certainly a significant part of it. Our offense needs to play better when the game actually matters.

We talking espn QBR? The one they used to manufacture The Golden Calf of Bristol being a good qb?

Bryce isn’t absolved from fault but I’ve hated espn qbr since 2011.

    • I'm not a Geno fan, but LV had the worst Oline I've seen in a long time. Jeanty had 863 of his 975 yards after contact. That's insanely bad blocking. I don't want Geno here, but I can't fault anyone for looking like complete ass behind that poo show.
    • Maye wasn’t seeing the field well at all last night and when he had time to make throws on multiple occasions he flat out missed them. His first interception was a wtf throw Maye was downright awful all postseason long. If it wasnt for CJ Stroud being the worst QB in the history of the NFL during the divisional round NE would’ve lost. Then the same thing happened with Stidham Drake finally had to play some good defenses and he looked really bad  That SB was terrible. Sam Darnold led the league in turnovers this season. Sam is still very much Sam but Seattle is so damn good they can make up for some of his boneheaded plays.  You really do need a complete team. Saw the same thing with Philly last year. I think teams will look at Seattle and see Darnold’s contract and realize that’s probably the ceiling in terms of money that should be allocated to a QB and still being able to field a complete team. However Seattle doesn’t have any big awful contracts that’s also key. We’re stuck with Wharton’s god awful contract this year and Rob Hunt’s isn’t far behind
