Brian Burns statline: 2 tackles, 0 sacks

Recommended Posts

2 1sts and pick 36 in the last draft. It was such a good offer

Also, for those of you who always say edge rushers are so hard to find, blah, blah. Just like Reddick was a FA a couple year ago like Judon as well, I’m watching Leonard Floyd who has 6.5 sacks this year after being released by the Rams this offseason. It’s really not as hard as people think and the rest of the bounty would have been nice for Young to get some weapons.

Doesn't Burns have as many sacks as YGM this season (or if not it's bloody close).

A bloke many of you were ready to run out of town.

Elite Edge Rushers are hard to find. Edge rushers like Burns are a dime a dozen.

If you talk just sacks its 4 vs 2.5, if you talk tfl, qb hits, pressures than no it's not close. Burns is so far ahead in everything else that it's not funny.

This thread is a tell me you know nothing about football without actually saying it.

I think we’ve traded enough talent away, at least with this current gm, depending on the number for the tag, business wise just smart to hang on to him until there’s a deal worth doing, wether trade or contract extension

expecting to see elite performances from any player on this team is going to be a stretch, team is bad in too many areas

Burns: 3.5 sacks, 15 pressures, 5 TFL, 4 run stuffs

YGM: 2.5 sacks, 11 pressures, 3 TFL, 1 run stuffs.

I find that pretty hilarious, I'm sorry you don't.

    • LaMelo to Brooklyn for Nic Claxton, Drake Powell, and a pick.  Who says no?
    • Appreciate you, brother!  I know it was lengthy, but I felt whoever actually read it would appreciate it.
    • Damn good take, brother.  I think I take that poo personally because (sidebar: I don’t like to use narcissist often because social media has made it a buzzword and diluted the meaning, so when I use it, I don’t take it lightly) I grew up in a home with a raging narcissist, then married a narcissist and just came out of a divorce after a 20 year marriage with her, where afterwards she met and married another narcissist.🤣  And in my dealings with them, over my 41 years on this earth, at times I took great delight in breaking down their arguments point by point and forcing them to either acknowledge their wrongs and take ownership of them or watch them yammer and stammer away when they ran out of lies and excuses.  At various points, that was extremely satisfying, but ultimately, which I’ve realized especially after the last 3 years and going through the divorce and everything, it does NOTHING to them.  It doesn’t affect them one way or another.  For a logical, reasonable, grounded person, you would think calling them in their poo will bring it to their attention when they’re face when nothing but facts and truth and force them to change, but nope.  Not in the slightest.  They just disassociate from the ones who do that and find more people who will validate their behaviors and thinking.  poo pisses me off because they’re so destructive and couldn’t care less so long as their needs are met.
