Its the o lines fault. They are supposed to be good enough to not allow pro defenders to get anywhere near him.

So you’re saying the qb has no responsibility, I’ve seen plenty of qb’s throw the ball away before being sacked. Their are plenty of teams whose offensive lines suck or miss assignments and the qb throws it away.

The safety isn't even looking in Mingo direction

Safety would be on his way if Bryce throws there and would catch up. Safety's eyeing the QB and Young didn't show any intent to throw, so he was safe at the intermediate.

Young would likely have thrown at that point if he was going for Mingo, and the safety would be well and ready to react and catch him.

Another Bryce excuser.  How can you see that and not think he should at least try to throw it

I'm just being a realist. No idea if Bryce is the guy or not but given the state of this team there's no way to know right now. Why did the announcers feel nobody was open either? Are they in on some massive conspiracy as well?

    • And remind y’all that Rico Dowdle ran the ball 7 times on Monday.
    • I didn't want to pay him and they should have traded him before the 20+ million in dead cap. I feel this is another "blame tepper", he wanted a QB and Panthers only had 4 draft picks. CMC got a bad health report and missed games, but league still valued him and he was the best player on the team. Shitttttterererererererer traded him for 4 future picks, the future 2nd ended up being 61st........so all the other draft picks in 5th 4th were next to last, just a mistake. Yes 49ers at the time looked cook, but CMC helped them reach the SB. Used that 2nd and 3rd in the BY and DJ Johnson trades.....just awful returns. It was dirty to wilks to trade CMC while he was trying to make the playoffs, best I member the run game got better after the trade....   Im just one of those "never pay RB, safety, or MLBs" unless cheap/all world. CMC is not all world, but he's dang close.  Poorly handle, he bought a big home and thought he'd remain a career panther....Herniay made him the 16 million man, tops by 4 full million and no RB passed that mark for 2 years, God dam fug you herniay.  Im anti-RB, but about the last thing they should have done was trade a 1000 1000 threat that wanted to stay here, just total fumble by the Panthers/tepper/herniay/fittterererererererere per normal for this time-line.
