5 catches on 7 targets for 74 yards

Everyone else 8 catches on 29 targets for 63 yards.

This has to be the most hilariously bad take of the day my man

So what's your point big dog? Does he or does he not catch the friggin ball and basically/literally fall down? It happens a lot. Why? Because he gets the most targets. I didn't say he was the problem for the offense. I said he needs to be able to create some kind of YAC. And if he's the best we have, as you're seemingly implying, then that's a big reason why this offense is so bad.

All the couch potato GM’s and talent evaluators here want to judge Bryce based on one freakin season… there’s a long list of pretty good QB’s who sucked their first season then went on to dominate.

I’ve watched enough football to know that this won’t ever work. There was a reason we’ve never seen a 5’8 170 pound QB. He traded away all our offensive talent for this. No one should support this team until Tepper sells or he makes it very clear he’s stepping away from all football decisions. Tepper’s draft decision was a nuclear bomb on mint street, This is now one of the worst teams in football history.

Mac Jones and Zach Wilson are probably the only QBs who have been worse off the top of my head.

Well most fans do have terrible football IQ. They get emotionally invested in the team, and its difficult to sometimes see what's what. It even works both ways, meaning negatively and positively. Really, we just have to look how he has played on our team, it's wild speculation if he'd look 10 times better somewhere else. I'm at that point where it doesn't sound like such a bad idea either.

I hope some team would throw the panthers a draft pic for him in the offseason so we can see what he looks like on another team.

If Penix or McCarthy is there at 33...I mean, that's tempting given what we've seen this year.  But it's doubtful to think a QB at the top of the second realistically happens.

However, I don't think it would be a bad idea to keep an eye on one in the 3rd-4th rounds.  Some competition with a young backup with big traits/upside could be better at this rate.  And maybe we find ourselves a Hurts, Purdy, Cousins type.  Cameron Ward & Michael Pratt are the two I'd personally target.

Ward is in the portal.

It's so obvious but the copers just don't want to admit it.

Deep out? Nope. That's a pick six. Anything over 20 yards? Can't be in the playbook.

You are running a VERY limited passing playbook with Bryce. You're effectively turning the entire field into a redzone offense.

Even a similar skill set player like Kyle Allen started 4 or 5 and 0 before he was figured out. Took the league 15 minutes on Bryce

No one is trading for the qb that we just traded cmc and dj Moore and another 1st and second round pick for a 8 months ago. NO ONE WANTS HIM

Oh damn missed that! Well maybe he elevates to a top pick by 2025.  In googling, top odds look like LSU, UCLA and Miami.  Interesting.  I just love his potential.  He had me hooked last year.  The arm is there, he can run, he's tough as hell, he's got the size, and really progressed nicely as a passer this season.

I wonder if "arm elasticity" is still going to be a talking head QB talking point? That's all I heard about Bryce. Don't worry about his arm strength not being great, his arm is elastic. GTFO.

Maybe they meant elastic like a child's where it's hard to break because their bones are still soft.

These terms that pop up and then become parroted buzzwords because everyone thinks "oh that makes me sound like I'm smart and know what I'm talking about" crack me up.

If they don't throw at pro day stay away

Its not even necessarily that for me, its the fact that he didnt want to perform next to the guys that were also in the running as top QBs to justify his status. It was a clear business move by him or his reps to protects his stock because he was gonna look inferior next to them. If they were all willing to perform then bryce should have stepped up himself and did it as well despite advice. It would have atleast spoke volumes to me about his competitive drive and confidence.

    • This draft is 2023 all over again, it's not hard to see. QB's who don't grade out as high first round prospects while at the same time, the following draft class looks to be loaded with elite QB prospects. Drafting a QB just because you need one (or making a bad trade to make said draft pick), when there isn't one worthy of that draft pick, is how you ruin franchises, just look at us right now.
    • I upgraded to the S24+ a few weeks back. Very happy with it.
    • LOL... Yet again proving you can't look below anything than what you see on the surface Mock drafts ARE NOT draft grades They are what people think will happen.  They are mocking teams taking QB's in the top 5 of the draft because that's just historically how drafts go regardless of the grades on the QBs.  Almost every draft expert, even those mocking QB's going high, have said time and time again that none of these QB's actually grade out as those type of picks. This is again, where I say you don't like to actually read what I have to say, because I already explained it. 2022 the exact same thing happened, mock drafts had guys like Pickett and Willis going in the Top 5 because that's just what teams usually do, but GM's listened to their prospect grades and knew they weren't worth taking that high, so they didn't. It's not to say QB's won't go that high this year, but it's to say that they aren't graded out as elite QB prospects.   And yes, I've never said I'm not a T-Mac homer. But me being that doesn't change that he will be the highest graded offensive player in this year's draft, at a position we haven't been able to solve since we lost Smitty.  Taking him makes all the sense in the world, my bias aside.
