We figure out LG and get them on that top 5 list consistently, we can make some noise next year. Interior pressure kills young QBs

brady should be back!

i think a huge part of ickey's struggles this year have been the revolving turnstile at LG next to him

Why is Brown not up there?

PFF is all about consistency performing the, assumed, assignment.

Get pushed back 5 yards 3 times followed by splash play killing the guard and a tackle for 4 yards loss (usually ending the drive) grades worse than standing your ground with no tackles.

Brown is a drive ender that lacks a little in consistency.

Its almost like when you commit to a smash mouth football gameplan because thats the strength of the O-line we have while having running as the primary focus and let your rookie QB learn as the second line of defense instead of focusing your entire gameplan around throwing the ball 500 times a game, sometimes your rookie QB can look decent.  WHO WOULDA THOUGHT.

not you, but i love how random posters have been so excited about Troy Hill without realizing he's a 32 year old journeyman

That's what is so damn surprising about him to me.

If nothing else he is playing damn solid football, I expected him to be at least 4 years younger, but the dude's been around the league forever and all over the place.

Troy Hill has been a pleasant midseason pickup.

Shades of Rasul Douglas a few years back for us but we stupidly let him walk.

Amazing that of all the FA's I can think of we signed, he has probably been the best and he was almost an afterthought.

The Rasul Douglas comparison is spot-on...
