I dont think it was a bad playcall because it was play action. If the o line holds up there its likely a good chunk play down the field because everyones expecting a run on short yardage like that

Given the nature of where our offense is on the season and taking everything into context…ie OLINE…yes it was a bad play call…get the easy first and move the chains

Completely agree, but it seemed as if they knew the play action was coming.  Makes me wonder if they can read our sets and know what is coming, ala Luke K.

      This is the problem with Bryce Young.  We all see him have a very pedestrian performance and somehow think it's special.  That was a very, very average game.  There was absolutely nothing special about it.  It is a testament to how ungodly awful he is that when he goes out and has a middle-of-the-road performance that we view it as being spectacular.  The dude had 35 seconds and 3 timeouts to go 30 lousy yards and completely imploded.  He's absolutely terrible.

      Coker and TMac are basically equals as #1s.  I like XL but he and Bryce aren't on the same page at all.  The pass to the end zone Bryce threw that was flat as hell and gave XL absolutely no chance to run under is a prime example.  I just don't know what it is, but every ball he throws in XL's direction is absolutely terrible.

      I wouldn't say it's a foregone conclusion that he misses next season.  He may still be rehabbing for the first half of the season or so though.
