Tepper getting absolutely destroyed on WFNZ

Sadly, this isn't the worst example of team ownership the league has seen, from either a management or public relations perspective. Heck, he's not even the most problematic owner at the moment, much less of the last five years.

Tepper's not going anywhere and the other stuffed shirts in the ownership group aren't going to even tsk tsk him over this. He's going to be here and futzing about with this team for a couple of decades most likely.

Sucks but it's the reality. Maybe somewhere along the way the stars will align and we will be contenders again. But even then, we're stuck with a carpet-bagging, know it all Yankee who is just here to show his ass and rattle his jewelry when we peons get mad.

Yay team!

I think we all know who to blame here - @Zod for the unwarranted banning of @therealmjl. As a result we now have to deal with a petulant man child owner throwing a tantrum at a Jags fan criticizing him for his lackluster BoA concerts and Eric Reid's absymal play in Carolina.

Let's all come together and do what's right and free @therealmjl

let's at least set the stage properly.

post ban - 2 wins.  all of our wins.  So we still have been better since the banning.

post ban - Tepper threw a drink at someone.  Which IMO is basically a plus too.  Because more of the nation is now aware of what of a poo owner we have.   And the only way we possibly see change is for the masses to hit Tepper's ego very very hard to get him to slink away into the shadows of this team.

The funny part is that Tepper deeply cares about what people think of him. He wants to be liked so bad.

I think he wants to be revered more so than liked but since absence makes the heart grow fonder...maybe he should just go to Bermuda for a few years to get away.

    • Yeah okay. We as an organization have been more patient with him than many. And there has been a small parade of guys drafted since he was, also to bad teams, that have passed him. Some have lapped him. As a fan I am out of patience but he gets this year it is out of my hands always has been. I just hope the bar is higher than it has been for him.    FWIW, XL dropped two passes last year. He did do some other bad stuff, just saying.
    • Except it takes those QB's a few years to develop because they needed to learn the mental side of the game and have it catch up to their physical attributes. Bryce was supposed to be a QB savant who already had a fully developed mental side of the game and that was going to make up for his lack of physical ability.  And his lack of NFL level QB physical traits has been clear as day to anyone who has watched him the last 3 years, mainly, he just doesn't have an NFL arm, he can't zip the ball into tight spaces or throw on a line down the field like is needed at this level.
    • Don’t recall seeing many of his interviews but what strikes me is that he engages and goes in depth. Even with the cliche answers as referenced by OP come across somewhat thoughtful.  Very likable personality despite being someone who can crush an average person like I can crush a paper cup. I knew Motons mother had a career at MSU but was looking on the google and found that Mushin Muhammad personally knew Motons grandfather.   His late grandfather was a professor at MSU.   Cool guy.  Interesting family and small world.
