I honestly think that David Tepper is the GM in function. The GM in title is just a paper pusher and a fall guy for when the time comes to throw someone under the bus. Tepper's GM is basically like checking the "fill roster" option on Madden franchise mode. The computer makes the moves that you don't really care about.

I was truly hoping the reason we were fixated on bringing in a head coach first was because we were using "select your own GM" as a bargaining chip. Might be the only reason someone may choose Carolina over a more promising gig.

A pairing with Hallaby/Brown would go a long way to show that we are serious about re-imagining the direction at the top of the organization. I have nothing against Morgan, but there does need to be a new voice in the room. 

The Eagles continually draft well and select wise FAs. I want some of that here to help just in case Morgan is Fitterer 2.0.

Where is your confidence in Tepper coming from? All I've seen so far is a series of blunders and they seem to be getting progressively worse. I'll change my tune when I'm given a reason to hope for better. Until then, this is a clown show.

Loved Fitt? Hell, I said from the get go anyone willing to take a job as a GM without final roster say ain't a guy you actually want to be hiring to be a GM.

Tepper is an ass, he is still stuck on winning his way. It will be Morgan after no real GMs will agree to let Nicole, Smitty, Tepp, Homeless guys, etc. make draft picks on a whim.

Brandon Beane also worked under a GM that made some stupid decisions. Unless you have first hand knowledge of what were Morgan’s thoughts and decisions behind the scenes vs. Tepper/Fitterer/whoever, then what is the point fretting over it?
