Yeah, that's either gonna end well or be a disaster they are fixing for the next 4-5 years.

Can't wait to see Rodgers on the Vikings though!

It's the Jets so I'll go with latter.  Rodgers is a clown.

Feels like this will end in a disaster. Rodgers is not Brady.

The man couldn't even win in the NFC. To think a 40 year old Rodgers coming off achilles injury is gonna beat Mahomes/Lamar/Burrow/Allen in the playoffs is crazy. I can't blame them for trying though.

He’ll be nearly 41 when season starts.  Hope the Jets have good OL.

Yeah, they have the tiniest of windows here. And they're still the jets. Things dont go well for them.

You’re a fan of the Panthers while saying this? We’ve never had back to back winning seasons and are five or six years from our last one.

We are the new Browns.

their legacy of suck and bad luck goes back much longer than ours. we might be the newer kids on that block, but they've been living there for decades.

Yea Favre was bountygate and dirty plays away from the Super Bowl with Minnesota.

Yup.  I remember watching that.  Big late hits, no calls.  You could tell the NFL really wanted the Saints to go through when they stopped protecting their golden boy Favre.  That was probably statistically his best season.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
