I pray I am wrong on him. He did have good college production but his RAS scares me for a guy who is billed as an athletic TE

Well….ill take you back to the Rhule years where RAS was all there was

there are football players and there are test takers (physical and otherwise)

…but you know what doesn’t lie, tape.

Outside this pick…RAS has still been largely what the Panthers seem to value post Rhule.
Think Panthers value that under Tepper.

lot do their positional visits and things like feature standout RAS guys

Yeah time to get back to drafting football players. We need attitude on this team again and some personality we can get behind too. Teams been boring as hell since showing all the old guys the door

Damn great pick actually

Morgan finally just picked a player that was on top of a typical mock draft board.

JaTavion Sanders was an extremely common fan pick in R3/R4 particularly in a lot of mock drafts.

If you swapped out that LB we got in R3 for Trotter or Gray this draft would be a slam dunk.

I posted earlier with some data that this really isn’t true. They arguably could’ve used more athleticism.

    • https://x.com/4thand1show/status/1975274357174784272?s=46   saw this this morning and came to post something similar. I didn’t just love the team or the wins, I loved those dudes man. They put everything they had out there every Sunday. You didn’t see a rep where anybody on that field was low effort in that era, and if you did they were quickly sent packing.
    • …is Brycen Tremayne with 108 yards. Not sure what that tells us but I imagine it’s some sort of gumbo consisting of the following: - Bryce can’t push the ball downfield  - contrary to what many were saying this offseason, the wr still needs a lot of work.  - we need Coker back badly.  - Brycen is pretty good! Congrats to that young man! Curious to hear other’s read on it. Was a pretty surprised to see he had more yards than anyone other than Tet and thought that was symptomatic of our issues on offense.
    • I don’t think many fans would have guessed the Chiefs and Ravens would be where they are right now. Same goes for some surprise packages like the Colts, I’m not sure many would have put money on them being top of their division after five weeks. It’ll be interesting to see if this continues!   Not necessarily. The Chargers have lost both starting OL and their 1st and 2nd choice RBs. They fell apart against Washington. The Broncos have just beat the Eagles, so they’d be my favourite in that division, but they are still only one win ahead of the Chiefs. All the Chiefs need is a couple of results to go their way and they’ll be right in the fight for the AFC East. I think that division is going to be very close and probably not a 12 or 13 win division like predicted. Unless of course the Broncos kick on.
