Sell me on Beck, Ewers, Sanders, Ward, etc.

There's no way the FO and Tepper will gamble with a rookie QB right after the Bryce disaster. I expect us to ride with Dalton and another vet QB next year. Trade the #1 Pick for a team desperate for Shedeur and use the assets to build the roster and take a QB in 2026 in a better QB class.

Ward is a better penix of this class. Not super overwhelming physically but been getting it done forever. Little different that he really didn't have the injury bug, just worked his way from up the rankings. Always had success everywhere he's been. Just older prospect. Competitor, played well in big games, lifts team mates up (making the talent that's always been at Miami pop now)

Ewers is the guy to me. Has the it factor but little smaller and nicked up a little every year unfortunately. I don't think injuries he's had translate next level. The arm and moxy does. Now he is a gun slinger and can get streaky which drives folks mad. But he has no conscious and can instantly forget a bad throw and look like great after it. He has had top end talent all around at Texas and a great coordinator too. That's the 4 knocks: other talent, coordinator is great, inconsistency, injuries. He processes better than most, is pinpoint for stretches and has a cannon. Fearless leader of all that talent too that guys latch to. Wanted him to come out so we could maybe take him last April (hahahahahahaha), but he will likely be top 3 now.

Can Ward looks like he has IT. Looked effortless in his opener. It’s a long season, but right now he’s my #1

Can we please stop using the “IT!” factor.

That’s the only and entire reason Bryce is here.

    • Oh please with the wallowing in victimhood I'm going to take my ball and go home routine. You were just in here referring to people as super weird haters because they don't completely agree with your borderline delusional spin on what Bryce Young is and isn't as a fourth year starter. We can hope by some miracle that Bryce Young will actually be able to lead a formidable passing offense this season without being irrational homers and pretending verfiable data and what we have seen with our own two eyes doesn't tell us exactly what he has been to this point which is someone who moves the ball at a historically low rate.
    • I am curious who's behind all of this though. A video and photos from years ago surfacing? Someone has a vendetta and is driving this PR campaign. I'm loving it, but I'd also like to know who said mystery figure is.
    • I say positive things about Bryce when he earns them. Which he has a handful of times. It is all here and on the record but your lobby won’t focus on that or the flat out truth inside of our critical comments.  It is a constant thing with him and his backers - one or two good things and people are trying to extrapolate that to proof we should commit to him, while ignoring or making excuses for the larger portion of his track record.  When he is able to consistently turn in franchise QB extension worthy outings the tone of the posts will reflect that.  I have already said that if he would play like he did in the WC as often as we need him to, I would be okay with keeping him.  See you don’t want to talk about that though because it shows actual fair minded evaluation not stanning.
