Tepper in Germany drinking and singing with fans

I'm convinced that there would be some in here complain and bitch if he wrote a million dollar check to an abused women's or children's charity. Doesn't matter if he has made total poo decisions as an owner or not up until this point. Fact is he has remained fairly out of the spotlight this season and appears to have taken a step back and letting the football people make the decisions. It seems like he is slowly attempting to make moves to earn a little trust back and I won't even begin to try to deny that he has zero problems spending whatever he has to in order to try to make this team competitive. I'm not happy with his ownership so far but he is going nowhere so I'm hopeful he will keep eating his humble pie and slowly redeem himself. I'm not content with his ownership at all but some of you act like if he offered to buy you dinner and hang out that you would immediately turn him down. We all make mistakes in life and the truly smart ones learn their lessons and adjust. He may be going through his own evolution and doing just that who knows. He hasn't done anything this season to piss me off so I would say let him continue to slowly prove he is maturing as an owner.

So far, the only nice thing I can say about Tepper is that he wants to win and is willing to write a check to make that happen. He just doesn’t know what he’s doing.

That said I think hanging with fans is nice. Especially if he’s buying.

The concert for the Carolinas was pretty amazing.

Like AggjeLean said if the team was actually good people would love Tepper and all his shenanigans.

Unpopular opinion but I like Tepper's public persona over Good Ol Boy Jerry asleep in the booth. If his thing was just crashing tailgates and watch parties he'd be awesome.

Cancel culture is a wild thing done by very unstable people.

Imagine coming to a message board dedicated to an NFL team that has the worst win percentage in all of professional sports since the owner bought the team and wailing to a bunch of working stiff fans that the same owner is being canceled.

    • You joke, but hasn't basically the whole team been in Charlotte this past week together? I'm not one to see the random dumb stuff players put out on social media in the offseason and think it means that's ALL they've been doing and not working on their game.  But it's a little strange that all this is coming out at the same time we're seeing tons of stuff with the team in Charlotte together, even if it's just working out and not even official team OTA's or anything. So he gets a pass from me saying anything now, but if he doesn't show clear improvement this season, it then opens him up to some retroactive criticism for some things.
    • Ha-ha, I bet that went through everyone's mind.  Admittedly I don't read all the comments in a thread before I make a post. Great minds think alike!
    • Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.
