Chuba and Eddie. Canales cooked.

No he was a wuss.  Going for field goals instead of touchdowns and also abandoning the run.  It wasn't his best game let's be honest.  When your kicker has missed two field goals you go for it.

That last run had multiple holds and blocks in backs…. Why isn’t any coaches chewing the refs a new one?   We are so passive we just lay down and let anyone just steam roll us.

It didn’t matter at this point. The Panthers are losers no matter what. To the core this team is garbage. It took multiple HOF level players over the course of two decades to elevate this team beyond being a toilet bowl franchise and they still couldn’t have two consecutive winning seasons let alone a championship. Now the team is full of limp ass losers and they have the worst record in all major 4 professional sports leagues in the last 5 years. I don’t think chewing out a referee in that single instance would have done a single thing to combat the compounded pile of sh*t this franchise has become.

Ideal outcome. Bryce looked good again. The D played well for three quarters. Canales looking legit. The arrow is pointing up and we protect draft position.

We aren't going anywhere this year folks. We need to play well and find a way to lose. This is perfect.

Fair.  You’re right.  I said all I wanted was to be competitive and we’ve been competitive more often than not.  I’ll let it ride as long as we keep making strides in the positive direction.

that said, next week is gonna be a rough one.

    • I think Indiana will win it all but Miami should give them a much better fight than Oregon did.
    • When I tell people I was at that game, they usually say oh that’s so cool you had the experience. I call it soul crushing. Why? The weeks and months leading up to it were great, the team was fun to watch every week…some weeks the offense was unstoppable and carried the team (saints and giants road games), other times the defense carried the load (jaguars, tampa). Lots of back and forth games against good teams (Seattle and Indy). Good young players on the team, but the veteran leadership was incredible…from Cam, Olsen, Kalil and J Stew to Luke, TD, Norman, Tillman, Jared Allen, CJ. Role players like Fozzy Whitaker, Cotchery (he caught that MFer), Philly brown, Kyle love, AJ Klein, and so on.  The Friday before the nfc championship my wife and I after a few drinks said let’s see what prices look like for flights/accommodations and we got to talking about how much prices would increase if we waited until we found out if we would be in the big game. We said screw it, we are only out $200 if we have to cancel.  Of course we come out and just pulverized the cardinals in front of the most raucous crowd by far we’ve ever had. We had no idea what we would do for game tickets and then found out a neighbor who worked for the team could get us 2 for face value (each employee got two of their own for free, something cool that JR did).  But then the NFL mafia decided that the storyline of manning going out on top like Elway would give them more goodwill than a non traditional QB who didn’t connect with their target demo and the rest is history. I never have and never will watch that game again. I am just hoping I can see them win one in the 2nd half of my life.
