It makes no sense to take a WR in the first round with significant deficiencies at their core function, catching the ball. Perhaps they felt that's the most easily fixable thing but the Raiders (as one example) tried it forever and failed miserably year after year.

If we were the Steelers or Packers, yeah ok go for it. With us.. agreed. That's why I want TMac so bad. Just freaking take the best WR, we cannot evaluate WRs to save our lives at this franchise. I think DJ was the first drafted his year and he was great. Just frekaing take TMac and go on.

I remember a LOT of people here wanted Ladd. Pretty embarrassing a bunch of rando internet posters do a better job that your actual FO.

Yeah, I liked Legette, not gonna lie, but I think that I'd have had a hard time passing up Ladd. Go Dawgs!

I want T-Mac or Burden brought in with our 1st pick. They can go defense with the rest of the picks, but we’ve gotta get some receivers in here. I have my doubts about Bryce, but he has nothing out there for help outside of Thielen. We really missed Chuba today. The scrubs Blackshear and Boone shouldn’t even be on a roster.

lol people making threads about not getting over the hump with Bryce.

he isn’t the problem folks.

He isn't showing much to suggest he can elevate mediocre play though. When things go well, he can connect. When they don't, the magic isn't there yet, and that's ultimately not good enough in today's NFL.

I decided to clean my shop today instead of watching or listening to the game.  How did we do ?

2 great drives in the first half, first and last one, and arguably Bryce's best deep ball ever on a 50+ yard TD pass to Thielen. Horrible offense otherwise. Defense was non-existent.

    • I think i like the Oregon Safety better
    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
