So a linebacker? An end rusher? We need an expert pass rusher, not just another guy. We need defensive linemen. Any time we have been worth a crap, we have had great interior line play.

Trade down to 10, draft Tyler Warren. Then you can go defense the next two picks because you just got one of the best receivers and the best tight end in the draft without reaching for yet another wide out.

That's pretty solid imo. I like walker Higgins and mukuba. Don't know who belton and Parrish are honestly

I'd prefer Jaylin Noel over Higgins I'd I had my choice.  I think Higgins is too similar to Coker, in my under educated opinion.  Noel would give us something different in a quick separator and crisp route runner.

Belton at 74 is solid, but if I had my pick I's be looking at LB/TE/DT at 74 and possibly aim for Ozzy Trapilo with #111.  Maybe move on of our 5th or 6th rounders to move up in the late 80's early 90's to get our OT.

If Parish and Mukba are on the board at that point, yes and please.  Safety is pretty solid this draft, but I think there is more who focus on the run rather than specialize in down field coverage.  I haven't heard too much noise on the CB depth of this draft.  Should that be alarming?

I'm hearing that safety and qb are the positions with the least talent in this draft. If you want a good one you better take one early.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
