Bryce Young is a problem — what would you do if you were Dan Morgan?

Honestly, grather the important scouts and personnel that you can trust. Tell them no matter what Panthers will be drafting a QB this 2026 and put extra work into all the QB even the super sleepers.

How many can you trust though based on the results of the past few years?

If I were Dan Morgan, I would target Lbs, a stud TE, and QB.  If you question whether or not your QB is the guy in year 3, you need to start looking.  He will have his chance, but start looking.  Oddly, we could even be down a WR now--our most loaded position 5 weeks ago--Coker out, XL still eating road kill, and AT gone--suddenly, the cupboard is bare.

In my view, we celebrated when Bryce had a streak where he was normal--average. 

I would also look at coaching.  Evero?  XL not blocking or dragging his toe?  etc.  These are disturbing signs.  Evero's system is flawed, but they stay with it.

I don't think you lose anything replacing Thielen with Renfrow.

I hate this approach.

There's no guarantee you'll like anyone in the next Draft. You can't just pick a guy 'cos you need a QB. Which is why I advocate looking at the guys with NFL tape and trying to prize one of those away until you DO find the guy in the Draft. 

But granted you're also happy to let Young play out the season, leaving us playing 10v11 all year, so there you go. Different strokes for different folks.

I’ll ad one more. Play him the rest of the year. Suck for the number 1 pick draft a big boy qb. Just like the panthers did with pickles in 2010 that lead to Cam. That’s the only option. This team isn’t making the playoffs. They suck.

I just want to be competitive. 

It's not a deep team, but there's far more talent on this roster than our record will eventually show if we continue to trot Young out there.

      Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.

      I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
