I didn't give a damn about any of his workout numbers. I saw what he did at Auburn against SEC OLs and it looked exactly like that. My only concern was that I doubted he'd fall to us.

Yeah, I lol'ed when people were talking about Brown's awful 3-cone time.  A 4-3 DE or 3-4 OLB, sure, 3-cone time has some merit. A 320 pound human isn't supposed to light on his feet.  Those were the same folks that were saying under no circumstances should a DT get drafted in the top 10.

Imagine if we had taken CJ Henderson, Javon Kinlaw, or Isaiah Simmons over him like what was being talked about. Oof

Its came out if Dbrown wasn't there, 100% CJ Henderson would have been the pick.....

I always think about If Getltegut would have picked Chris Jones over Vernon Butler..... 100% if he was healthy panthers win the SB.

Jones is still playing while Bulter is bouncing at some sports bar, 99 Aaron darnold is that guy for 10 years of fear....Chris Jones was the #2 the whole time, he's a easy HOFer too....

The best before he got hurt and now that he’s back, ain’t a damn thing changed.

I think the best is he got paid and performs

Shame it appears he will be wasted with a poo supporting staff, even average ends would be feasting with Brown

meanwhile opposing qbs have all day…Jets game aside

    • I thought this presented an interesting point. It is fair to wonder now, about switching the two QBs as so many tried to do that first year where Bryce was trash and CJ looked great.  It is almost the reverse scenario now and I wonder what CJ would look like here with better weapons better coaching and better protection. Overall, compared year one.  If each player had been in the other place for the three years. I would love to see CJ with this team now.  Just to see.
    • I really have no clue what to expect sunday.  To quote one of my favorite bands of all time, Operation Ivy "All I know is that I dont know".  We could win, hell we could win convincingly, we also could lose in blowout fashion.  We could be in a back and forth game with whoever has the ball last winning.  I legit HAVE NO CLUE.  This isnt the dominant bills teams of the past, Allen is still elite and can win any game by himself.  That said, heres my stab at looking at things. Our defense is made to stop this kind of team.  Strong against the run, a great corner but meh talent around the field.  We've stopped prolific run offenses this season.   Javonte Williams - Season low yards and ypa against us. De'Von Achane - Season low yards and ypa against us Breece hall - 3rd worst yards in a game Fact of the matter is, we arent what we were last year, we are a good run defense and that lines up well against the bills, Stop the run.  For once the lack of moving Jaycee might be a good thing, he will essentially lock down a side and without multiple real weapons thats fine.  Buffalo does not have an elite guy, theyve got a gaggle of average dudes.  Allen will stay away from Jaycee, it will be on Mike Jack and Chau Smith Wade do to their part and they will be matched with guys they can play at the level of. On offense, we do what the bills are bad at.  We run the ball well, and they suck at stopping the run.  Rico and Chuba will need 30 carries.  Andy Dalton will need to be opportunistic.  My big fear is what we learned last year, Dalton can get overconfident and make bonehead throws.  Its this simple.  Run the ball, stop the run.  Dont turn the ball over.  If we do these 3 things, we will be in a position to win in the 4th quarter.
    • This makes me wish we took a flyer on Quinn Ewers late in the draft
