the 49ers are likely our worst matchup of the season....

what they do really well:

Kittle

CMC out of the backfield catching passes

is not our strong suit, especially now down Rosebloom as well

So how do you attack the 49ers? To me the ONLY way we beat this team is we lean heavily on the time of possession and keep CMC/Kittle off the field

They also don't rush the passer so you're wrong about them being our worst match up. It's 100% the Rams

This has the potential to be a signature win to finally tell the league we aren’t playing around anymore. We’re no longer a doormat and have a WC shot.

It also has the potential for another rollercoaster-ride awakening type performance turning back into poo.

We tend to not operate in between these two sides this season lol.

This is a winnable game I know yall are pessimistic about primetime games but we actually have a winning record on MNF. It’s SNF to fear.

They are the 49ers of years past and they are injured to hell.

I love the fact they we are 7 point underdogs.

everything is about matchups and who you are playing.  I do think it's the worst matchup for our D on the year.

and Bryce Young outdoors and on the road......is generally not good for the pass game.  He has 2 games this season over 200 yards and they were both in domes.

It is a road game. We are on a road win streak. I agree we should have a shot but am well aware of the Jekyll Hyde factor.

Yeah it will either be down to the wire or we will have it lost by the 1st quarter.  Who knows?

I don't know - SF is pretty banged up on defense and somehow is as bad as we are at rushing the passer. Somehow the 49ers didn't get 1 sack Sunday, despite Brissett throwing the ball 57 times. I think Seattle and LA are much worse matchups for us.  Think we are going to have to win in a high scoring game if we do win Monday though

Out of the two games before the bye, this one is the most winnable. If we want to keep playoff hopes alive, we really need to beat the 49ers.

The Buccaneers remaining schedule is laughably skewed in their favor. If the Panthers want to win the South we may have to win 4 out of the next 6, and beat the Bucs twice.

    • Two things: 1. Dr. Eric Eager is central to the draft process 2. I know that it was edited, but we didn't hear "Thieneman" one time, not even before the Vikings pick.
    • Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy
    • Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
