We’ve used more o-line combination than any team in the NFL. Just cause we overpaid doesn’t make them good. Coker is an udfa, Tmac is a rookie that has drop issues and runs a 4.6. Rico only has 4 games with over 100 yards rushing. If you give Bryce a weapon like DJ or Cmac his numbers would be much better. He has no one on this team that can make stuff happen after a catch. Not to mention Canales is not a creative designer of offense

Just because you don’t have an abnormally healthy starting OL in a given year….doesn’t  mean they are playing bad because depth gets involved

We have seen lots of bad OL play in Carolina at times. This unit is not one of the bad variants we have seen

run game has been top 10 most of the year.  Bumped down to 11 at the moment.

Bryce deserved the criticism he got (and gets).  He is improving, and the criticism becomes less frequent and less severe when that happens.

TMac is a huge factor, as Dowdle.  These two players, along with the highest paid OL in the NFL, has made him better.

We can build around a QB on a rookie contract.  How will he do when his salary quadruples?  Less money for OL, WRs, and defensive players.   Nobody talks about the cap--but it is a real factor. Morgan is building a solid team.  I want Bryce to succeed.  He is a tremendous human being.  However, when he sucks, I am not going to kiss his ass.

This is a very fair concern, but the eagles and rams have the #1 and #2 ranked olines. They did that while also paying their QBs.

Keeping good players around BY (at a reasonable cost), is a Dan Morgan problem.

It feels good to win. Let's get two more to finish out the regular season.

This is a freakishly weird team to figure out and one that seems to be at its scrappiest when taking on favored opponents. That in the playoffs could make for some very odd games.

I can't wait to see them!

Game seems to slow down for him last year as well then the beginning of this year it was like he was a rookie again.
Are we gonna have to deal with the same thing next season?

What’s the cause of the slow starts? I wonder if it’s the lack of preseason snaps.

I think we should bring in a good backup to light a fire over Bryce’s ass in the offseason.

We've had countless threads and posts bashing everyone from XL to TMac to Sanders to Evans to Tremble to Rico Dowdle to Chuba Hubbard and to basically anyone and everyone on the defense.

The only time anyone calls foul is when it's Bryce Young.

Yeah, but Ace-hole is trying to call people out for "hating," and actually rooting for Bryce to fail. Huddlers, unless they're just stupid, aren't actually rooting for Bryce, XL, Evero or anyone to actually fail, they're actually rooting for the opposite. That's what Joe is saying.

You can criticize players, even to the point of wanting them "upgraded," without wishing that they fail. Love and hate, criticism and praise, are not necessarily a static propositions either.

At the end of the day, Bryce has been clutch this season at times. He's played like sh¡t at times as well. I try to live in reality. I don't think Bryce is going anywhere based upon perceived improvement. If you gave me a button to eject him, I'd probably push it with little hesitation, as I don't believe that our offense should be limited by his physical inadequacies, but I'm not the one in charge. Knowing human nature and the FO, I can easily see them giving Bryce (Evero and even Legette) another season. With that being highly probable, I think we should target a young free agent with some upside that has shown incremental improvement (e.g., Trey Lance or Malik Willis), and I'd also target Drew Allar as a day three priority. This way, we can still push Bryce and have some back-up plans.

Bryce has improved considerably this season. Hell, he's improved since mid-season. He's actually taking shots down the field and his accuracy on those throws has improved a ton since his rookie year.

Anyone who can't see that he has gotten better flat-out has an agenda and would rather be 'right' about Bryce than see the team succeed with him.

You know who you are. Don’t enjoy this. You rooted against your QB. You don’t deserve an ounce of happiness.

Happiness isn't based on or determined by who you pull for or against.Having said that no matter how much I may disagree with things I would never pull against my teams in any sport.

I think everyone can agree that he’s doing better, but it is also ok to say that it’s not nearly enough and we need a different QB for long term success. This nuance seems completely lost on the Bryce hopefuls and is somehow twisted in to hate for Bryce. A lot of us just simple don’t believe he has what it takes.
