This team has not sniffed the playoffs in nearly a decade, a total abyss of pathetic display of professional football

Do I think this team if they get in the playoffs will win the Super Bowl, absolutely not

Would I be excited that this team made the playoffs, hell yea and deep down you'd give up making out with your first cousin on the weekend to go watch the playoff game

 

We need to win the division to set the blocks for next year

We have an up and coming coach who needs a mentor in his corner

a STUD for a GM who is COOKING

a wrecking ball for a DT

a stud for a corner

a young buck for a DE who is just a rook

a true #1 WR

a solid OL

a QB who is progressing

 

It's not perfect, it's not beautiful but I am beyond elated with the direction this team is going

 

I will be in Tampa cheering on the boys to bring the division back to Charlotte and so should you!

 

And for the national mouth breather association who will undoubtedly poo and flame everything I post.... have a blessed day

For the record I will never root for the team to lose for draft picks. Of course we should all be rooting for the division crown and to be in the playoffs, if not you shouldn’t be a fan in my opinion. With that being said, I am not as sold as you are about our coach being an up and comer. The guy is 100 percent hands off with the defense and has some extremely questionable play calls and adjustments after two full years on the job (some coaches only ever get two years). To be an offensive coach and only muster 56 yards passing is pathetic. Not in a drive….or a quarter…..we are taking the entire game with the division title on the line. I don’t even really know what our offensive identity is after two full seasons of him calling plays. I know we WANT to be a running team, but never fully commit to anything other than the check down/ 2-4 yard passing game.

Either outcome against the Bucs I'm fine with.  We make the playoffs, that's great, it's been a hot minute.  We will be there about a long as a fart in the wind, though.  If we don't make it?  That's fine too because at our current draft spot, the pickings are slim.
