Dave and Bryce both showed in that tiny window…..they couldn’t handle the pressure in such a tight spot.  Call it whatever.  We have seen that before this season.  Not a yard gained again when there is a real time crunch.   They don’t know how to manage tight time.   Just like last time it’s looking big chunks and getting nothing…..and ignoring the dudes who got you there.

decent game overall.  Rams helped us stay in it.  Good performance all things considered but not really good.

That Rams TE TD was a great play, gotta give credit to Stafford on that throw.
regardless, we had 32 seconds and 3 timeouts to at least tie it up with a kick and screwed the pooch with the play calls.  Even if Horn catches the 4th down ball with 7sec left, what do we do for a final play?  Bryce Hail Mary?  Surely the coaches had a better set of plays they should have run.

see ya all next season!

Really reminded me of the Cardinals loss. Mr GWD was completely ineffective.

Quick slant across the middle. Time out with 2 seconds left. Long FG attempt to tie.

So you want him to catch a pass on his knees? This isn't some mid round pick or Mr. Irrelevant big dog. This is a #1 pick. Throw a better ball.

Dude, he is facing the QB and nobody is hitting him. Every QB in the NFL isn't making a perfect throw - if you are a wide receiver and the ball is in the range between your knees and top of your head, that should be a catch 100% of the time (unless it is a hospital ball and you get hit afterwards)

He called a worthless last drive. I can’t believe how bad that was.

You think he called for the QB to scramble out of the pocket when there was a one on one over the middle deep on the field. Young's primary.

Did he call a play for the QB to throw a late jump pass deep to the sideline from the pocket? You think any OC is calling that?

Did he call for the QB to tip toe up in the pocket and javelin a ball into the ground with a wr who got open on the play call?

The plays were there. Bryce couldn't deliver on that last drive

The Rams were playing a PREVENT defense guarding the sideline. The plays were there crossing the field. The plays were there against a Rams prevent defense. So, why couldn't Bryce find the openings and deliver against a prevent?

Stafford, Darnold, and Baker could have all delivered on those play calls against a prevent. Let that sink in

You guys want to send every other coach or player to the guillotine. But if it's suggested the QB throw a better ball it's unfair cmon.

I disagree.  We have young receivers.  Hardly anyone has more than two seasons.  They will grow.  We need better pass blocking.

Yeah, I am afraid developing XL hurt this team.  Coker is the real deal.  Lock him up long term.  Lock up Mays.

We might look TE now if we think Coker is #2.

In my view, based on this game alone, I proclaim (needs assessment--not going QB as a priority at this time--they will give Bryce the 5th year and we will see from there.

1. Edge. (the second round seems to be where the value is going to be)

2. ILB  Probably our first round pick.

3. WR  A stud to go with Coker and TMac.

4. TE  IFree agent? Not elated about the draft at TE)

5. FS  Ransom needs to focus on special teams and baclup SS (Moehrig) and we need a better FS)

6. OL depth  (A developmental OT is on my mind)

7. OL depth  ( Center--not sure where we draft one--maybe as early as round 3.)

Shocking statements:

1.   Cut XL, Scott, and Robinson (cap move)

2. Trade Horn (this is questionable, but hear me out--cap move-this depends on the return, but I do not see the value at his current deal.  We got lucky with Coker and Jackson--allowing us to get rid of high-priced liabilities--yes, I think Horn --at his salary-- is a liability)

3. Do not re-sign Dowdle (RBs start declining at his age--you already have a high-priced RB on a second contract)

I like the foundation. We are close and know how to get better.

They stop us with man when they needed a must stop. When we needed a must stop we stayed in zone...

That was a prevent. What defender was in man? They were in a deep umbrella guarding the sideline and running with defenders who came across their zone
