that sounds like he’s leaving because of the playing time decrease to me. 
 

Good riddance. Chuba is the better back on the team and Rico had 3 big games for us and besides that was mediocre at best giving production we can replace easily. Same thing he did for the cowboys in 2024, a few big games and the rest of the season trash. This guys ego is a little bit too big for how inconsistent he is.

If you can only thrive if you get 35 carries per game then yeah that's just not how our system is designed and best to move on. Thanks for those 2 legendary games though.

Yea you could tell down the stretch his relationship with the coaching staff started to dwindle just like his playing time. He seemed so much less explosive after he was on fire those few games. We have a lot of other holes on the team where we need to spend money rather than another vet Rb with the money he’s asking for.

Well with Brooks coming back plus others on the roster it makes sense.

Sucks but it would be hard to keep him with brooks coming back. Those back to back 200 total yard games were legendary

I’ll be honest, Hubbard isn’t really good at this point either.   Brooks has been hurt for 2 years and you can’t really count on him as being anything.  

Backfield is going to need some juice and an addition.

My money is on him signing a 1 year contract again. Not necessarily with the Panthers. He really struggled the last several games.

We can find some fresh legs in the draft. Just don't use a high pick on one.
