2026 Schedule. My goodness

I'm glad we're facing a #1 schedule. If Bryce regresses and sucks again we should be sitting pretty in what should be a much better QB draft class. Time to sink or swim little guy.

My prediction: He'll look really good through 3 or 4 games, and then have a season-ending injury. So the question will still be hanging in the air. Come draft day, half will say, "We have too many other needs, Bryce looked good enough before he was injured." The other half will say, "The sample size was too small to prove it, we should take advantage of this QB class!"

It's so on-brand for the kind of crap that would happen to us to keep the Bryce saga dragging on and on...

The best scenario is that he absolutely balls out and erases all doubt. I just don't see it happening.

Waiting GIF
been saying this since he was drafted and sitting through the unconditional Bryce lovers' reassurances

Way to early prediction: 9-8 better roster but harder schedule. Saints have easier schedule and win division at 10 or 11 wins.

Win:

VS New Orleans

@ Atlanta

VS Tampa

@ Cleveland

@ Minnesota

VS Chicago

VS Cincinnati

VS Detroit

VS Baltimore

Lose:

@New Orleans

VS Atlanta

@ Tampa

@ Green Bay

@ Philly

@ Pittsburgh

VS Seattle

VS Denver

It’s been a while since we beat some of these teams, so I could see us getting lucky like we did in Green Bay maybe in Pittsburgh or Philly. Chicago will be interesting, I’m not scared of Baltimore, Minnesota, Cincinnati, Cleveland, etc.

Bad news is Bryce will actually get use a middle of the round pick (9-8) missing any chance to get a QB. Honestly though I think Tep would be ok with that and see it as a reason to resign him. After all that’s the most success Tep can muster in 10 years.

Do I go to Minnesota or Cleveland thats my question.  Maybe both but we will have to see the travel budget after the world cup this summer.

I feel this answer is easy, 100% Minnesota. Ask @TheBigKat he's been there and Im betting he had a great time football-wise.

Both feel like good chances at wins but cleveland has a new stadium in the works and I would prefer to visit older stadiums as there are plenty of new stadiums to see.

Honestly Ive heard great things about Viking stadium, its "new" and one of the first "modern" themed one. I know there are YouTube's vids all about it. Its cost was 2 billion in 2016, all sorts of crazy methods and wind this, snow. Other team owners have visited and copied many of the ideas that happened there, it was the first on many fronts.

It's a lie about 1 billion, at the end was either 1.7 or 2. good luck!

I think they'll see last year as an oddity in 1 score wins and put our close game win total back down to would be average which is 6. After losing Icky and Rico, I think they drop us to 5.5. Our offense was not impressive and I doubt Vegas is as infatuated with Bryce as the media and Carolina is.

    • It's crazy with how much winning was going on when we had a little cool off period that we're still just a couple games out of 6th. Moussa is getting better every week and Coby is getting comfortable. Would be nice to get to 6 but I think this team is a lot more stacked than the last couple play ins. I can't remember the exact rules but if you're 7th seed and win the first game I think you automatically move on and don't have to play the second game?
    • I think it was a thing for sure. Panthers weren’t too many people’s first choice. Or 5th choice.  2022 and 2023… coaches fired mid season. Consecutive years. You want any of that?  He has definitely overseen a rehab of how the Panthers are perceived. Because we are a place that is seen as up and coming. And just the little thing of he accommodated Theilen so graciously, that gets noticed. It all adds up. Dan is doing a lot of things right, probably most things.  Needs a good draft.
    • K, I think that is dumb, but you do you. I didn't find anything online that made him out to be a dislikable person. I am certain the Panthers would have cared so much if they lost your fandom if they hired Sean Payton. But bet you would have come crawling back if Sean lead us to a Super Bowl victory or Golden leads UNC to a champion ship. It is easy to say you are gonna leave a team if the hire someone you dislike when the chips are down. But people like you tend to come crawling back once the team finds success.
