Return of Wilkes?

Feeling by those in AZ media, including one of their most reliable reporters, is that Wilkes has lost the team and just isn't HC material.  Say Washington gets the boot would you welcome him back with open arms?  I thought he over-relied on the blitz but he was/is lightyears better than Washington.
