Your Friday night Cam Newton update...

While I do not disagree with sitting him this week given the injury, it does make me wish we had given him some reps in the earlier preseason games.  Last night he looked like a player who hadn't played a full speed down in 7+ months.

So we are going from “Cam is never playing again” to “we better not play him against Donald?” Him playing week one is a good thing right??

Its a good thing for him to play but

This guy

Keeping this guy

    • just read the thread. I would like to say that the team not being sold to Tepper is an absolute banger of an answer and probably the right one

Initial gut reaction when I first thought of this question is Kasay kicks it in bounds on the kickoff, but unfortunately I still think New England wins that game even with that My second instinct was pulling Bene out before he breaks his leg in the playoffs. My crackpot theory is if he never gets hurt we win the superbowl. I refuse to go back and watch the game but at some point Peyton throw an absolute duck that should have been pick 6'd. but because we were on our like fifth outside corner he was slow to the ball. this would have completely flipped that game because I'm pretty sure Denver scored that drive and the next one was the Cam sack fumble
