What did you think of the offensive line?

It was confusing.

Some good play & some god awful play.

Little was in....then out....then back in.

Why haven’t we given Larsen a look at center. Paradis hasn’t done enough to not see if Larsen can be better.

I do think if we had Okung-Daley-Larsen-Miller-Moton together for five or six consecutive games, we would have a cohesive line by the end of the year.

I was happy Schofield wasn’t out there today. He has been our worst OL thus far in 2020.

I watch almost every game, every week

I am not going to judge a line by watching them specifically, I’ll compare to what the rest of the league has

and in doing so, they’re straight garbage

Then, considering 95% of the time no one gets in the playoffs without a top oline...Panthers are way way off

Good and bad.  That last play on offense was pretty bad.  Bosa pushed little back and got the sack, took us out of fg range and almost cost us the game.   That being said, Bosa is one of the best.

Overall, it wasn't that bad.  Run blocking was actually pretty good, and Bridgewater stayed fairly clean for most of the game against a decent dline.

I think Little was terrible.  His balance was not good, he gave up underneath moves too easily (when he had no guard support--big no no)  and he got bull rushed.  Scott was bad to OK.  Bosa got under him once, and he should know Bosa from practices--so I do not know what to think, beyond we have nothing at LT for next year.  Little is not the answer, and I watched him whenever I saw 74 on the field.

Little did a good job run blocking away side--he took a good angle and reached a DB or LB.

Jeremy, I do not think you are going to like what you see, but I may have missed some plays.  Bosa, on the other hand, makes the best LTs look bad--so maybe we should focus on the plays Bosa was out/on other side.

We need a LT, LG, and C next year.

Too soon to say Little is another Marty day two bust? While some users on here still try to say he is good at drafting?

Scott looked like a backup and got beat a few times and still looked better than Little. No idea why they were changing them out so often.

Moton is our one good spot. Paradis is better but still bad. Having a new LG was better but still another stopgap.

We need to draft Olinemen and keep drafting them next year. Take 2 and keep dipping  until we can field a unit that isn't awful.

    • Disclaimer:  In June, I am usually optimistic.  In October, a policeman with a bullhorn is telling me that I have a lot of life ahead of me and to think about my loved ones as I gaze down upon him from my rooftop.   Having said that, I think our offense (down the stretch) was good enough to play KC and Philly tough.  So how many games would this offense have won if they played the entire season like they did in November-January and if they had a better defense?   If you could stretch the last nine games over an entire season and put a solid defense on the other side, I see 5 wins becoming 7 or 8.  Down the stretch, the Panther D surrendered 30 points or more in 5 of the final 7 games and managed to win 2 of those 5.  If they can win 40% of games in which their defense surrenders 30 points or more, then the math indicates, had that been the case all season, the Panthers should have won 6 or 7 games with their defense surrendering 30+ points.   This season, we are much better at WR (TMac, Renfrow, Horn, and I expect XL to be a lot better).  Bryce is confident and now a leader.    The Achilles' heel of the 2024 defense, the DL, seems to be very solid.  We got back Horn and Jackson on the corners, Smith-Wade is improving better than expected, we signed a stud Safety.  Derrick Brown returns.  While the D is not there yet, it is going to be better.   So if we ended the second half of 2024 playing at a level that should have produced 6-7 wins, better WRs and a better defense could result in 9 wins or more.
