But aren’t you embarrassed of being 2-22 in the second half of the season since the start of 2018? If whoever we draft does well, Rhule will just hold them out next December bc of a hangnail while we’re 2-12.

I’m embarrassed but firing Hurney, over the embarrassing 2018/2019 drafts and waste of probably close to one year’s salary cap over the past 3 off-seasons, is a good first step. I like Rhule but we came into the season one of the least talented teams due to prior two drafts. We’ve found some really talented young guys and have a solid core of Moton (please extend), Moore (him too), Anderson (same), Burns, Chinn, CMC and Brown. If we can add a QB and more assets in another good draft then I feel even better about the future.

After 2018 and 2019, it just felt like crap because we continued to sign expensive vets and tried to make runs when we were clearly. It feels different because there’s a little bit more light at the end of the tunnel and having pick 3 or 4 makes the rebuild easier. Yes, it’s clearly a rebuild that started once Teddy did terrible in crunch time. It would have been better if we started the rebuild before signing Teddy and all the other $$$s.
