Just remember that player DO NOT like to sit out games. They each receive a game day cheque and if you are inactive, even if it is a coaches decision they do not get that money. Sometimes those game day bonuses are in the $30,000 range. 

Another reason why players dont tank and the pressure on coaches to play to win.
