who are some random panther players who fell into obscurity that you think about time to time

For me it either Jake Delhomme or Jimmy Clausen.

Jake just because I had so much affinity in him.

Jimmy because I was totally on the hype train when we drafted him

Jake Delhomme is doing the horse racing thing. He also does stuff with the Panthers from time to time for media stuff.

It’s been mentioned but what is Chris Gamble up to? No interviews or social media.

Last we heard of Gamble, he was announcing Carolina's 3rd round draft pick. I think that was 2019? Looked well.

Heard that he was a bit of miser and lived in a middle class apartment complex during most of his career here. Don't know if that is true or not.

I’m not sure about apartment complex but I heard he was really good with his money. Set himself up to never have to work again.

    • It's not sustainable,  although he deserve credit for the win also, as he made clutch plays as he does with every win we have.
    • As much as I would love to sit here and bash on Young.  I can't.   He is absolutely a part of this team winning.  He is the cool hand leading the offense along with the hammer, Rico.  He's making plays on 3rd and 4th downs, that are absolutely helping thus team win.  Is Bryce playing as well as we'd like? Nope. Although he had only 1 week off from a high ankle sprain.   No question he was 100% in the Greenbay game.  I'm not even sure where the team would find a clear upgrade over Byrce.  He is a leader.  In the 4th quarter, he has ice in his veins.  He is a part of why our team is enjoyable to watch again.  Without him, we wouldn't be winning.    Anyways.  Y'all enjoy yet another thread designed to tear down the man.
    • Great article on all the Lil Canes attending their debutantes ball. Walt with a great breakdown of all the rookies, as always, and I'm a huge fan of his team coverage, he is truly a treasure, but as a fan of mixed metaphors and superfluous language which some might ignorantly refer to as a "run-on sentence" I never really understood what that mean or where to put the comma after a quote in the middle of a sentence, but holy poo Walt, this is a gem, "While there's a long road left in front of them left to determine whether or not they'll have that same success on the blue line again, the beginning stretch of the journey has been thrown a wrench, and the story on defense has been the emergence of up-and-comers forced into becoming lineup regulars." , bravo, take a bow, sir!
