Go on record. Who still wants Watson?

Once all the facts are presented and any and all evidence surfaces, I’ll decide if I am 100% off the situation.

Until then, my plan for the Panthers remains mostly unchanged.

Get Lance or Fields, in that order, at 8. If they are both off the board then, trade down a bit and hope to land Jones.

Move Teddy during the draft for extra capital.

Roll with your rookie or PJ, or see what other trade you can work out before the season for an interim starter.

Sounds like Marriota might be a real option soon at worst.

Only way we draft Jones at 8 is if we truly believe he is a franchise QB. While I don’t think he is a franchise QB in the modern NFL I do trust the staff and organizations due process. I think we all should until they prove otherwise. I would prefer we trade up to a potential trade partner and guarantee one of Fields/Lance.

I'd offer 4th and a 5th for his rights.

That is what I am talking about. Less risk and high reward. If he never plays another down then you only lose two mid late round picks. That may be where the Texans are now. Unless of course they have no intention of releasing him...

Sheeeiit

Once the accusers got past 10 in number and the worst misogynyst you know started posting about how much women need to pay for false accusations or whatever I got no choice but to pump the brakes, despite my best attempts to make distinctions abt what I didn't trust about the case til this afternoon.

Justin Fields ran fast yesterday, I'm still on his train

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
