Sadly this sounds very accurate.  Down 3 scores, Horn and Donte Jackson compete at the end of the game for who can pick up the dumbest penalty, likely after the whistle.

Wait until you see grabby Horn after Darnold has thrown too many picks. It's going to be a nightmare. Flags everywhere, and Panthers fans wanting Darnold dead.

People are judging this pick based on their edging themselves over fields for 7 picks and not on the merits of the player we picked. That's on you.

How many chromosomes do you need to figure out we weren't drafting a QB when we just gave up a 2nd round pick for Sam Darnold.

Most of these fools just watch Stephen A Smith lol

Idk you show me? I said Farley in a trade down and they liked him and Horn very much.

In addition to what he is TRYING to say--as the draft approaches, situations change.  I predicted Sewell, then changed to suggest a CB1 would have to be the pick if Sewell is gone--maybe if he wasn't.  When you are 31st in the league in getting off the field on 3rd down, that CB1 is very important.  We talked about it.

So Fit and Rhule said there was a QB they really liked, they were open to drafting if he was on the board---was that Lance then? I dont't think Horn would be who Tepper was banging on the table for. I said it before, "I like Horn, but not at 8." And especially not with Fields (and Slater, D. Smith-even Jones) still available.

Someone said earlier they can't wait for the explanation. I second that.

    • These kickers are getting so good
    • They're pretty far off, double T-Mac's stats to get to the same targets as XL and it would be 4 drops to 7.  A 3 drop difference might not sound like a lot, but it's still almost twice as many drops on the same number of targets. Not to mention, if I remember correctly, XL's drop problems last year seemed more down field, where he was dropping passes he should be making and it was clear his poor hands were there reason he dropped them. And weren't both of T-Mac's drops this year on quick hitters with blockers out in front of him?  I know at least the second one was as he was going to go for a huge play and maybe a TD on it. To me, and yes, I'd say this about any other player, those are drops because a rookie was trying to do too much in making a play before securing the catch.  Much easier to improve upon a lapse in concentration than dropping passes because you have bricks for hands and body catch more often than hands catch, like with XL. And yes, 100%, which is why I wasn't one of those people you were referring to with talking about him that way last year.  Yes, I said he had drop problems., because he did, but I didn't think they were unsolvable and expected to see great improvement this year after an offseason of hitting the juggs machine (unfortunately not sure that happened though).
