Rhule on Horn: "When you look at the NFC South, the big receivers you have to face week in and week out, it's gonna take a lot of guys who can cover, and also cover really big men. There's a size matchup in the NFC South that matters and he checks that box for us."

Gettleman just traded their later pick to the Bears, for their 20th and 1st next year and other picks and we are led to believe we couldn't trade down for some OL help?   I think I'll be OK with this if Horn is a shutdown corner, else I'm not so sure.

Horn is a stud. This will be Luke 2.0 where people look absolutely dumb a few years from now when he’s considered one of the best in the league. Richard Sherman said he will be the best defensive player in the draft

This can only happen if Fields winds up not being a franchise QB. If he's a franchise QB (which there's a pretty damn solid chance of) then even if Horn becomes the best CB in the league it would've been dumb to pass up Fields.

    • I believe Lloyd will elevate not just the whole unit, but also whoever his running mate is. Wallace is still very young, I think he's only 23 with two years of exp now. Cherelus can handle starting, he's just fighting with staying healthy. Kuwatch I think is going to be a contender after a couple week of understanding the system.  I mean Lee will be against..... what nearly 10 NFL-level WRs, he's going to get work and its up to him if he can hang.  I think its fair to expect 12th +/- 3 or 4 spots.  You know this, it boils down to how healthy everyone stays.....cause if dbrown, horn, Lloyd, Michael Jackson, or tervon miss extended time.....no way 10th can be reached. IF all the names above remain haethly, I do think 10th should be the goal. They are a young unit and added talent to a 16th ranked unit. Its time to march forward!!
    • Varying degrees all around but it starts at the top. That is where the buck stops. It has been 8 years of stupid, long before Morgan came back. Or Tillis was hired. Made it to the top of stupid mountain in 2023. Stayed in stupid limbo for a while, now we are prepping to scale the next mountain. In this case, I like those guys’ roster building better than what we have had so I am okay with them as our current pawns in the game of Bryce.
    • Don't let me gas him up too much, but I hear this and that...... I seen a wide body man with a quick burst, that's able to shed blocks and if extends his long arms its over. He tore up the OL in the senior, you seen about 10 plays and the dog walking OLman. There's other plays of him doing the same, just have to deal with fetus talking over the plays. Plus there's this-  https://x.com/PFF_College/status/2018385471068332410?lang=en     I hope he's ready, cause Id like to see him starting and doing his thang with dbrown, nic, and Phillips.
