The Carolina Panthers select LSU WR Terrace Marshall  in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Joe Brady reunites with a favorite weapon of his.

6'2 , 205lbs

Strengths
  • Expected to be a big-time tester.
  • Exciting height, weight, speed combination.
  • Averaged over 104.4 yards per game in 2020.
  • Playmaker who averaged a touchdown every four catches over last two years.
  • Size to bang on undersized corners down the field.
  • Strides and separates on go routes.
  • Quality ball-tracker with second gear to chase it down.
  • Foot quickness is a plus for being a tall wideout.
  • Consistently gains ground on coverage on inside routes.
  • Has experience outside and as a big slot in LSU offense.
  • Very wide catch radius.
  • Able to rescue throws way outside his frame.
  • Runs with decent toughness after the catch.
Weaknesses
  • Appeared to lack focus and intensity in some 2020 games.
  • Excellent timed speed but doesn't always play fast.
  • Too content in allowing press corners to attack his release.
  • Uses same stutter-skip setups into stems and breaks underneath.
  • Fails to crank up quality route fakes to tilt cornerbacks off balance.
  • Had focus drops in 2020.
  • A step slow to get hands catch-ready as slot target.
  • Allows coverage to crowd him too often.
  • Needs to do a better job of finishing his routes.
  • Has almost no special teams experience.
  • Pie 6
  • Flames 1

    • Lil Stanky 100% in the dot tonight... And our 2nd line has been our best offensive line this season. Maybe our 2C really was on the roster this whole time...?
    • That’s a grade I kind of expected tbh. I’m not a huge fan of NS, but he’s not as bad as what the huddle says he is minus the horrible game he had vs the Rams. I’ve always thought he’s often used as a scapegoat. The improved pass rush should hide his deficiencies a little bit better if he’s the game one starter. FS might have to be a position we punt on this year unless Thieneman falls to us at 19. The reality is, you're going to have a few average players in certain spots for a team with as many holes we had before free agency started. You can’t sign everyone.
    • I am by no means trying to say he's a world beater. I'm saying it's trending in the right direction. Especially when measured against himself.i think the team feel the same way or else they wouldn't have picked up his option. Plus I think there is a new idea in the NFL about these young QBs. Teams give up to soon. Browns gave up to soon on baker same with the jets on Geno and darnold. Maybe they are who you thought they were in the draft process and they need more time to develop than you originally planned. Either way. I do think he is as capable as darnold is as far as you can win a championship with him. And something he does have that darnold doesn't is he is clutch.  If I need one more drive and 2 mins to go I'm betting on Bryce and I am far from a homer, just going off his game winning drives. He has that dog in him on the last drive.
