My board for 4th round:

Rank

Player

Comment

1.

Trey Smith, G Tennessee

Former T that can’t block the edge, needs to play G. Great run blocker

2.

Jamar Johnson, S Indiana

Ball hawk, not great at tackling

3.

Dylan Moses, LB  Alabama

Nice value at MLB behind Perryman

4.

James Hudson, LT Cincinnati

Raw, but a year away from starting and good depth.

5.

Jaylen Twyman, DT Pittsburgh

Good pass rushing 3 Technique; has not played in 18 months

6.

Paris Ford, S Pittsburgh

Leader, playmaker, good in coverage, good tackler

7.

Quincey Roche, Edge Miami

Trans to Miami from Temple, was effective. Rhule loves him (SR Bowl)

8.

Stone Forsythe, LT, Florida

Tall, long arms, great in pass protection—bad in run game.

My board; whoever's still available with a score over 8 on the Rhule Against Slowness board.

I say we take the MLB Moses tomorrow because Smith has the clots--he may fall.

A S in round 5.

A g and K in round 6.

I 100% agree, but think he will be there in the 5th

he has not run a 40--say he is slow.  I would rather go with one of the many others that are good value in the fifth.

I could see us going OG/OT/LB/DT with that fourth pick.

James Hudson

Jay Tufelele

Trey Smith

Jabril Cox

He'll probably be gone, but id like to get Kenneth Gainwell with that 5th pick.

I still think we need a free agent LT. An old head for brady to work behind until hes ready.

How is Ford in your top 10, as he did test slow as molasses 4.9. also 29 vert and 9-2 on the broad jump. I liked him for the attitude he brings but not much else after that showing. He was always a test and see guy as he didn't jump off the page for range at the safety spot. He does as a hitter that's for sure.

On Makuamu: your knock is might be slow? Had a 9-11 on the broad jump and 36.5 on vert. At 6'4, 212 and 34" arms. That's a lot of space he covers. Sucks he didn't run but he isnt ford slow.

    • Good, our ST is almost as bad as our ILB depth!
    • With two starters on expiring contracts (Moton + Corbett) as well as a few back-ups (Christensen, Mays, and Nijman), the Panthers are likely going to have to reinvest in the OL after this coming season. Icky's fifth-year option was picked up by the team this offseason while Lewis and Hunt both remain under contract then (though Lewis' deal is set-up in a way that would let Carolina move on from him then as well). I think that the team is going to be looking at investing a premium pick at RT should Bryce's development continue, and might even look to double dip at the position in order to have a swing tackle that can also kick inside when needed. There's also the question of starting center... Prospects I'm watching this upcoming college season... Centers Jake Slaughter (Florida) Iapani Laloulu (Oregon) Connor Lew (Auburn) Logan Jones (Iowa) Parker Brailsford (Alabama) Connor Tollison (Missouri) Bryce Foster (Kentucky) Pat Coogan Notre Dame) Raheem Anderson (Michigan) Carson Hinzman (Ohio State) RTs Francis Mauigoa (Miami) Kadyn Proctor (Alabama) Spencer Fano (Utah) Gennings Dunker (Iowa) Blake Miller (Clemson) Isaiah World (Oregon) Caleb Tiernan (Northwestern) Monroe Feeling (Georgia) Earnest Greene III (Georgia) Monroe Mills (Louisville) Charles Jagusah (Notre Dame) Tree Babalade (South Carolina) Trey Zuhn III (Texas A&M) Nolan Rucci (Penn State) Tristan Leigh (Clemson) Fernando Carmona (Arkansas) JC Davis (Illinois) Riley Mahlman (Wisconsin) PJ Williams (SMU) Tosh Baker (Notre Dame) Aki Ogunbiyi (Texas A&M) Courtland Ford (Kentucky) Ethan Onianwa (Rice)
    • I watched documentary on the 2010 Auburn season and Cam wasn’t included in that either. I think he just doesn’t care for these things
