I hate Atlanta and so did many of the players who are largely gone. I know many past players hated the Saints as well. With so many players coming from the Saints including our OC Joe Brady, I wonder what the players would say now??

I think most of the teams around the league, as well as the league itself hates the Saints. They love to throw cheap shots and act like total crybabies when they don't get the calls they think they deserve.

It was just 2 years ago when Cam Jordan punched Kyle Allen during a game.

I believe that years ago the league tried to make Tampa Bay our rival in the division since Atlanta and New Orleans were already rivals. I do not believe that the rivalry ever took off so to say who our natural rivalry is with now I’m not entirely sure. If you ask either of those two teams who their arrival is they would say the other team and not the Panthers. If you ask a Panthers fan or at least the average Panthers fan who their rival is it’s probably going to be the Saints more than any other team.

Then you’d love the 96 playoff game.  Crushed Irvin, put him out.  They put Deon Sanders on offense and all 4 LBers dog piled him head first into the ground. He gone.  Then it was “everybody meet at Aikman.”

Good times, if you hated those Cowboys teams.

A friend game me a ticket to a Monday night game at the Arizona Cardinals new stadium - at the time.  Just the girls.  The cowturds were the opposing team.  We flew up Saturday, enjoyed some pampering before game day.  We took a tram from the hotel to the stadium, and unfortunately it was filled with Dallas fans.

Loud, brash in that grating Texas drawl, or whatever you call it.  Top of their lungs.  One male sitting across from me proceeds to put his dirty boots up on the seat next to me.  Furious, I asked him if he had been raised in a barn...didn’t his mama ever tell him you don’t do that next to a lady?  Stunned silence, feet withdrawn.

Barbarians.

It shifts between the Falcons and Aints. Bucs bought a championship congrats to them but they're still a dumpster fire and will be again shortly so I don't care too much about them. Seahawks were easily our biggest rival outside of the division for a while there as it seemed like we played them every single year and we met in the playoffs a couple times, but still don't think they were more of a rival than Aints or Falcons.

I’ve noticed over the last 2 years these division rival games don’t seem to matter to Carolina. It’s all ho hum just another game. Would be nice to see a little extra against those divisional foes

Dallas fans are some of the worst. Obnoxious and yelling about being America's Team. What made it worse was losing to them in the regular season often with terrible calls. I remember Peppers blocking a field goal and then getting penalized for roughing the kicker when the ref said he didn't touch it and film showed the ball trajectory was clearly altered.

Finding that game and watching it twice should be his homework for the weekend.

Our old selves and our decisions in rebuilding. That's our main rival.

The biggest questions being asked isn't about if we can beat such and such team (maybe the jets because of Darnold or pats because of Cam).

The biggest questions are can we be better than we were in the past and did we make the right decisions in the off-season.

That's all everyone, including ourselves, have been talking about.

    • Ha-ha, I bet that went through everyone's mind.  Admittedly I don't read all the comments in a thread before I make a post. Great minds think alike!
    • Cam was hitting his stride as a QB in 2017/2018.     This is why I think stats like completion percentage are overrated. As long as a QB is clutch and makes the throws to win the game the rest doesn’t really matter. What good is a check down stat padder if they’re a choker.  Until Norv Turner (and briefly Chud) got here we put Cam in high pressure throwing situations all the time. We also ran the ball on first down more than most teams in the NFL in the Ron era. Coupled with shitty WRs, all that is expressed in his stats. I also assume Cam took the ball in his hands on many occasions rather than trust Funchess to catch the ball.    It was also never Cams job to play the game like someone else. His presence on the field dictated the game in a way that is rarely seen.  He showed he could play the dink and dunk game just before TJ Watt. That didn’t suddenly make him better than his earlier seasons. He just got put in a legit under center  passing game again for first time since his rookie year with Chud.    Ron took the quickest path to success and abused the RPO because his ass was about to get fired.    Cam never got the credit for being the cerebral player that he was. I just think when you are legitimately a human Superman, sometimes the best play is having the ball in your hands. He was a better passer than Delhomme was.
    • I don't think Canales has any problem benching Bryce or moving on if Bryce doesn't come out playing like the end of last year.  It's year 3 no more excuses for Bryce
