I honestly think this isn't close. Jets struggle to score against a dominant Panthers defense.  Panthers offense is methodical and efficient with a gameplan to avoid a weak interior o-line.

This is the NFL and this game will be close IMO and come down to turnovers, redzone and a few plays.

I have confidence in the defense so I will say 20-17 Panthers

Also thinking the game will be closer than expected. Panthers win 20-16 with the Jets final drive ending in a sack or interception. I think the defense is way ahead of the offense at this point.

Panthers Defense is pretty dominant. Panthers offense gets 3 touchdowns. Sam Darnold has a decent game, 240 yards 2 TDs , No int! Panthers win!

This is going to be a lot like last year's Detroit game, except with more competent QB play and a monster day for CMC (180 combined yards, 2 TDs). Jets show that they are one game into a complete rebuild season. We're going to pick up a lot of hope off of this one, but won't know if it's false or real hope until next week.

Short fields make for a quick day for us, defense gets to feast on depleted Jets line. 

31-3 with the Jets grabbing their lone score at the end of the first half.

*At the half, it is tied 10-10. Sloppy play from both sides. The only Jets touchdown comes early because a bone-headed play by the offense or new punt returner gives the Jets excellent field position. Dan Arnold is big on third downs. Huge punt return is nullified by a penalty. Interception off of a tipped pass seals the deal.

Panthers jump out to a fast 10-0 lead, and go into halftime up 20-7 after allowing a last minute TD drive by the Jets. Rhule takes the air out of the ball in the second half, having Brady call running play after running play into a stacked box. The Jets crawl back and pull within two. With less than two minutes to go, Brian Burns gets a strip sack of Wilson with the Jets on the Panthers 36 yard line and the Panthers hold on for a 23-21 'victory'.
