Are you sold on Matt Rhule?

Even last year he exceeded my expectations. This year it looks like we are going in the right direction even more. From 2019 until now look at the roster. There maybe 3-5 non rookie guys that are still on this roster from 2019. He has turned this roster into a hungry but extremely young team. Bill Belichick was complaining about all the 27 years olds on his team. poo 27 is an old man on our defense and we are #1 in the league after last year I thought we would be the worst defense in the league. I wasn't excited about the past couple of seasons but Rhule has definitely won me over.

I actually go out of my way to listen to his pressers that Panthers.com puts on YouTube. He is just dripping with charisma and has a very clear vision. It's obvious that the team is following him and trusts that he's showing them a better way.

Yes!  And on certain topics he ends up going on and on with such depth that it's obvious he knows what he's talking about and the man is dripping football knowledge.  It's not every question, and there are plenty of fluff answers, but when he starts talking deeper, you can tell he's legit.

I've been hyped since day 1.  I'm not going to say I was blindly sold on him, but the product on the field I think speaks for itself, especially on defense - which is a statement that could  have been made 6 months ago regarding the defense.

It's obvious that the team is following him and trusts that he's showing them a better way. Even watching Dante Jackson talk about overcoming Jaycee Horn's injury has demonstrated how much Dante has matured in the past few seasons and clearly has not only bought into the process but he's benefitting from the process. Lastly, I don't think it can go unmentioned that this starts with Tepper. This man had his own vision and found the right guy to bring in and implement who Tepper wanted the Panthers to become...and I chuckle to myself anytime I think about Rivera in his dwindling days here trying to defend himself and that he's been using analytics for years. Such a breath of fresh air to finally break the status quo of what we've been since our inception.

Exactly this!

I actually look forward to his pressers. They are full of really interesting nuggets.

Huge fan of Rhule and have been since day 1, but hard for anyone to be fully sold on him until we see results. This 3 game stretch has been awesome and very promising going forward but he needs to keep it rolling over the course of a season and into the playoffs. I fully expect him to do so and I love how he coaches and how Snow and even Joe Brady have done for the most part.

    • Idk man, I think it’s necessary.  There’s people working 9-5s everyday that get told poo about what they aren’t and what they’re not capable of and they’re working for scraps.  These guys are making millions.  People are watching and invested because their team and fandom is a part of their identity and a big source of pride.  When someone like Bryce comes in and is given chance after chance after chance after proving he is not worthy of the position he’s being gifted, and he continues to be the biggest reason above any that we are losing, yeah…  I think it’s fair to call a spade a spade.  Am I saying Bryce the person is trash?  Bryce the person is a piece of poo?  Absolutely not.     I came up in an era, especially in basketball, where if you were fuging up people heckled the poo out of you.  I played in rec leagues as a teen where the fuging parents were calling kids trash and yelling poo like “TURNOVER!!!  TURNOVER!!!”  “CANT DRIBBLE!”  “CANT SHOOT!”  And that’s adults screaming that poo to kids like we were in the fuging Rucker lol.🤣🤣🤣  I went on to play basketball at a collegiate level and with professional players in different settings.  What those experiences as a kid taught me was to see if there is any merit to what people are saying, and if there is, then work my ass off til they can’t say that anymore.  Come back better, tougher, harder.  And I did.  If kids can figure that poo out, an adult calling another adult who is bad at his job while making millions and millions of dollars will be just fine.
    • I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football
