How far out do you think this team is from being Super Bowl caliber ready

Things can change really quickly in this league. Likely 2+ years but if we chance into a Russell Wilson rookie year caliber mid round QB next draft and upgrade OL in FA we could be there next year frankly. Or if Wilson/Rodgers did choose to come here, unlikely but not impossible.

time wise, no idea. personnel wise, an above average QB (8-12 range) and 3 average to above average OL. Problem is, that's probably the hardest position groups to acquire in the NFL, so if it takes 5 years who knows if our other pieces are in place. If we got Deshaun and then someone drafted/FA a few decent OL I think we compete next year. Defense is there

By the time we correct this (if we do at all) all our young players will be looking for their 2nd contracts. You have windows for this. That’s why I was so big on the Watson trade. This defense could be so nasty if we had at the very least a competent offense who could keep them fresh or keep us in the game whenever the defense had a bad game (which happens) Watson would change everything. Yes, even the oline. Elite qb play masks deficiencies.
