The Panthers….. not an attractive destination for top shelf talent?

Raleigh has actually caught up to Charlotte, only about 50k difference between the two areas. Charlotte fell a spot to 22nd and Raleigh jumped to 24th on recent TV market size. Add them together like the NFL apparently does and it's top 10 in the country I believe.

I believe that you are correct. NFL market size is different that the regular media market size. The NFL market takes into account the number of households that are part of the base for every game regardless of who the team is playing. I think that in 2016 the Panthers were around the 8th spot. Which makes sense when considering that North Carolina alone is the 9th or 10th most populous state even when not counting South Carolina.
