The fact that you might be able to draft Sam Howell and upgrade at QB without even having to take him top 5 should make him MORE appealing

Panthers have 11 mil in cap room right now and the cap goes up next year, they can devote that and the rest of the draft picks to the line. Sam is possibly trash. Stop being obtuse.

So yeah.

Anyway figured it out. Sam's poo at read levrages in the NFL.

Even if he wanted to roll out on that int his best option would've been rolling to his right and hitting Robby, no one in the middle of the field and he had leverage on his defender, unlike D.j. where the DB had SEVERAL steps in front of him.

I mean he sees ghost (rightfully so) and makes poor choices under pressure but it was killing me why he was hoilding onto the ball so long. He has no idea how to attack defenders.

just an observation, but i didnt know this was a thing. when an opposing player is down, it seems like part of the captain's duties includes staying on field until they're up and moving. i didn't realize it until i saw donte and burns go over to do this on this injury. must be a sportsmanship thing.

This team is an embarrasment to being in the nfl. It starts at the top. Move the team and lets get an owner who says fug analytics and doesnt have this ego. Im at the game, mostly pats fans. Absolute fuging embarrassment

Can only hope that Rhule takes a college gig next year.  The best thing to happen to this team.

    • Interesting topic.  I have had a few NFL friends and one told me that he could not work out or train unless the activities and facilities were approved. AI: In many NFL contracts, certain activities are restricted, and injuries sustained during those activities can lead to the voiding of contract guarantees or even the entire contract. These restrictions often include dangerous activities like skydiving, rock climbing, or even engaging in contact sports like boxing. Additionally, injuries sustained while working out at non-team facilities or during personal recreational activities may be classified as "non-football injuries," potentially impacting the player's compensation.    Having said that, I question the reason the person filming this was not helping.  Secondly, the decision to put it on social media makes it seem a bit prearranged.  I do not think this would violate his contract, but I do think it is a bit stupid on his part in that he could be injured.
    • Doesn't make it right.  And as you put it, you wanted to ban him from being country, which is essentially policing who he is as a person lol  I get protecting the "asset", but banning people from living their life is crazy. Russell Wilson likes to play helicopter pilot.  I would deem that WAY more dangerous.  Those things scare me.  I still wouldn't want to keep him from doing it if I were his boss.  I would just try not to think about it, haha.
    • Could do better could do worse. I've seen some people very indignant over bringing him back and I can absolutely relate to the sentiment. But it's just in a backup role. He's also a good locker room presence and an effort player so for a 1 year rental in a year where we aren't going to do much it's fine. This is a development year. And there will be options if need be at the trade deadline. Besides at the end of the day we all knew a signing like this was around the corner after how drafting Mark Williams ended. He should have been our franchise center for the next several years. I don’t put that failure on the Hornets.
