Benching Sam is about all they can do to change things up.  But it will not change the fate of this season. Blood will need to be sacrificed at the end of the season.

So Rhule gambled on Darnold. For Rhule to save his own job he probably has to bench Darnold, let the other guys suck, blame it on and fire Brady, and gamble on Darnold again next year. They gave up too much to cut Sam and no one would trade for that guaranteed money either when you can get a Trubisky/Winston/etc for under $5 million on a prove it deal.

Amazing how folks are coming out and defending Brady and Fitterer.

I guess there were people working to defend the command crew of the Titanic after the fact, too. The boat still sank, the tragedy still happened.

It's a Confederacy of Dunces up there.

Even a casual fan could see that the QB position was not addressed properly this offseason and the fans are livid. No wonder the stadium is going to be full of opposing team's fans or just empty.

The entire organization signed off on having Sam Darnold as the one and only starting option this season. That was mind-numbingly stupid. I've said all along that trading for him was not a bad idea as long as you signed a veteran QB behind him (Colt McCoy pr Andy Dalton type QB), or drafted a rookie.

They needed to throw talent at the QB position and see what stuck. They did not do that and that was a huge failure on their part. It should cost some people their jobs.

The offense is damn near unwatchable. If it was a rookie QB that I believed would be better it would be much more tolerable, but that’s not the case. If only we kept our picks and drafted Fields we could use round 1 and 2 on OL next year with a young promising rookie. The worst part is many people on here saw this coming…

Fitterer basically made one bad call (Darnold) and everyone knew it was a low risk, high reward proposition. Thinking he can’t evaluate bc of that deal is foolish.

The Gilmore trade could turn out to be a coup. The jury is still out on Henderson. He’s a second year player who’s playing behind a heck of a lot of talent in the secondary. If you think you’re getting more than that out of a 3rd round pick then you’re dreaming.

Not drafting a QB, not drafting a tackle until round 3, trading a 3rd for a corner that can’t even crack the 53, trading perryman, signing oft injured players to decent contracts

From what time hear there is a ton of tension constantly in the building. Everyone, and I mean everyone employed is feeling it.

Tepper ain't happy. Pissed in fact. Something could happen this week.

move the team!? new owner!? i think starting over as an expansion team would net better results than the past five years.

let's just remember that most here literally thought we found our franchise left tackle in the third fuging round.

    • Wasn't talking about Medicare exactly.  Medicare advantage is different.  The one my mom uses is thru blue cross and blue shield.   Medicare Advantage (Part C) | Blue Cross Blue Shield (bcbs.com) My mom has been using it for about six months now.  Before she was using a medigap program run by United Health Care and it paid almost everything, but was costing her 400 a month.  The Medicare advantage plan doesn't cost anything (the premiums are actually paid by Medicare).  Now she does have copayments, some of them for for medicine, but so far, they aren't bad.  Hers also covers dental, which medicare normally doesn't cover.   I will state though that my Mom has Medicare part b (she pays for it, but gets reimbursed by the employer my stepdad retired from).
    • Can revisit when/if Charlotte gets an MLB team. It has been discussed lately and I think Charlotte and Nashville are supposedly high on the list.
    • Nfl leaders don't look at the population of just the city itself.  Charlotte has three of the top fifty combined statistical areas within a 1 to 1.5 hour drive.  Charlotte, Greensboro/WS/High Point, and Greenville Spartanburg.  Those three statistical areas include nearly 7 million people.  Other than Raleigh, the only one in the top fifty within an hour and half of raleigh is Greensboro.  So only about 4-5 million people.  Charlotte has many more people to draw from.   Also, many of the surrounding communities for Raleigh are not native born.  If memory serves, many still refer to Cary as Containment area for relocated Yankees.  One of the reasons the Canes do so well is a significant portion of the population are people who moved from Northern Areas.  Would that population translate into support for a NFL team?  Hard to say, but I see a tremendous amount of Giants/Jets jerseys in the triangle when I forced to endure the crazy traffic on 40/85.
