Pretty obvious that Rhule can feel the fire burning his ass and had to do something. If he pulls a RR and somehow wins 2 or 3 games (highly doubt it), should he be given another shot? Or pull the plug at seasons end and clean slate time?

Why, so he can win one more game than this season and point to a trend of success?  This is not college, you don't have to compete for recruits against the blue-blood teams.  That honestly does take a few years to sell your program and get kids to believe in the process, turning those 2-star commits, in year one, to 3-star the following year and so forth.

The NFL has ONE draft that all teams are on equal footing on.  You're not at a competitive disadvantage to say the Patriots.  So saying it takes 5-years to build a winner in the NFL is either sandbagging or hedging their bets until most of that 7-year deal is collected.

      Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.

      I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
