Manage to keep game close, down 2 and we drive into field goal range with seconds left, short throw in bounds, we can't spike, time runs out and we lose due to bad clock management instead of kicking the game winner.  After the game rhule says we can't see what they saw on the field and it's part of our process.  Also he says cam has to be better in those situations even though cam was on the bench and not playing.

1 hour ago, The NFL Shield At Midfield said:

Cameron Jordan runs to the Panthers bench in the first quarter and just starts punching Cam in the face.  Panthers are penalized for an unsportsmanlike and the Charlotte Observer calls out Newton for his lack of leadership and immaturity.  Cam says he has to handle getting assaulted better and it's not about him in the postgame presser.

Early in the third quarter the Saints run out of QBs and call Alejandro Lastra down from the luxury box to kneel out the last 30 minutes of the game.  Saints win 40-6 while Robby Anderson practices first down points on the sidelines.

No bullshit here - I thought the game was at 1pm and was not looking forward to having to juggle between the panthers and the heels game at 1pm. A friend texted me about it being a 4pm kick off. I didn’t know this. I can’t recall ever not knowing when a panthers kick off was. Man it’s worse than I thought.

Sam fumbles the ball on the 2 yard line and the entire offense pulls a Kelvin and is like “meh” and watches the taints walk the ball 98 yards to score. Rhule announces that he is implementing part 13 of “the process” by allowing the team to wear Hawaiian shirts on tuesdays to increase morale.

    • It's crazy with how much winning was going on when we had a little cool off period that we're still just a couple games out of 6th. Moussa is getting better every week and Coby is getting comfortable. Would be nice to get to 6 but I think this team is a lot more stacked than the last couple play ins. I can't remember the exact rules but if you're 7th seed and win the first game I think you automatically move on and don't have to play the second game?
    • I think it was a thing for sure. Panthers weren’t too many people’s first choice. Or 5th choice.  2022 and 2023… coaches fired mid season. Consecutive years. You want any of that?  He has definitely overseen a rehab of how the Panthers are perceived. Because we are a place that is seen as up and coming. And just the little thing of he accommodated Theilen so graciously, that gets noticed. It all adds up. Dan is doing a lot of things right, probably most things.  Needs a good draft.
    • K, I think that is dumb, but you do you. I didn't find anything online that made him out to be a dislikable person. I am certain the Panthers would have cared so much if they lost your fandom if they hired Sean Payton. But bet you would have come crawling back if Sean lead us to a Super Bowl victory or Golden leads UNC to a champion ship. It is easy to say you are gonna leave a team if the hire someone you dislike when the chips are down. But people like you tend to come crawling back once the team finds success.
