First of all, woe to the kid who gets plopped into a lame duck coach’s last gasp.

That alone is enough.  Not to mention this crop of QBs is not a Day 1 starter class and I’m a Tar Heels fan.  Drafting a project at 6 and hoping poo pans out ain’t the way.

but hey I’m nobody.  I’ve just seen this movie before and the ending sucks.

It might get them drafted but it's not an indication they will make it in the NFL. Everyone gets hung up on the players that look the part but hasn't yet put it together. Coaches fall for that because they think they can make them a baller. My theory is that if they can't produce under pressure from the best competition in college then don't count on it in the NFL.  It's not going to happen in the NFL no matter how much fans think it will. The NFL doesn't suffer fools and my friends the Panthers are owned a ran by fools.

I just think he’d be worth the swing if we’re gonna do it. Otherwise just trade back and get as many picks as possible this year and especially next year.

Personally, not high on him.

He misses reads in favor of scrambling at unnecessary times, Accuracy is subpar, and he is not as fast or shifty as Lamar Jackson so I don't think he'll get away with what he does at the next level. 

In my opinion he looks like Johnny Manziel. Apparently complete polar opposite of a human though. So if you liked Manziel's potential you'll love Willis'. He has a better possibility of success based on his attitude alone.

Would rather draft a tackle, tank and hope for Young or Stroud. Or even Caleb Williams the year after that.

I was we wait until 2026/2027 to draft our QB.  Arch Manning will be available.  If that doesn't work we can wait out Chosen Newton...

Trade down if we can, get a lower first and maybe a second and third from some team with multiples, and rebuild our offensive line with MFing studs, maybe get a starting LB. I trust Fitterer and Morgan have done their due diligence and are planning past Rhule's tenure with their selections.
